I actually think he should goes to German League for loan as it is the most attacking league and more competitive than Dutch league.

He has to be good enough to start or sub here for it to be any good for him and the club though. If not, he might as well take a step down and play Championship football for the rest of the season.

At least that way he might get a little bit of life kicked into him.

The fan says "He's like magic when we play, a breath of fresh air."

The player says "We are more entertaining, more solid(I think) with him in the team"

The guy in the press conference "he is a guy who brings a lot to our football, and we hope it doesn't stop there."

After the press conference they discuss his move from chelsea to dihon and talk about his physical and how he progressed into the team

Ancelotti: I gave him two matches dans the champions league and it gave him a lot of confidence, and gave me a kot of confidence in him"

Kalou: Don't really understand what he said here, I think he compares kakuta to a well oiled ess and lamps... Not sure though

Commentator talks about his debut at dijon and how he fit in nicely with the team

Kakuta: The club was like a family to me once I moved here. They all welcomed me with an open heart. I want to improve my game from my time here and learn new things as well.

That was the gist of it. But bear in mind I am still learning french and am currently in my third year of it, so there could be errors...

Another :(

L’entraîneur niçois, René Marsiglia, a fait l’inventaire : «Inventif. Sûr de lui. Culotté. Ce qui me frappe, c’est son insouciance, sa jeunesse dans le jeu. Ça fait partie du foot.»

I know roughly what it says thanks to google, but, it says he was reckless in the translation & I want to know if he meant it positively or negatively.

I'm going to make the brave assumption that insouciance means the same as insouciance in English

carefree or unconcerned; light-hearted

Carefree sounds good.

For me the biggest problem with Kakuta is how he goes missing and fails to impose himself for the full game.I also think that this might be a problem that through sufficient playing time can be overcome.Sadly I think this part of his game could have been worked upon by Chelsea coaches much earlier but right now I just want to see whether he eventually can overcome it or not because talent he has aplenty.

It didn't work for him at Bolton. I can't see it working here. Maybe the PL is not for him.

Been a while since I put my French GCSE to any use, but based on the context I'd say it sounds positive- you wouldn't call someone cheeky or playful if you were going for criticism.

It's both. Kakuta's insouciance has always been a feature of his game, known and focused on by youth team coaches for years. It's not going to change barring some significant event OFF the field.

It can work at a club like Dijon, but not at the highest level. Similar sort of attitude had to be virtually beaten out of Joe Cole by Jose and guess what league he's ended up in...

I knew given tim on the pitch he'd impress. A lot of supporters from the different clubs in Ligue 1 all want Kakuta & people are beginning to say he should go to the Euros

Typical overreaction to a player's purple patch. He's not ready to go to Euro 2012.

Not wind up and it wasn't intended as a slight at all.

I just don't see enough in him to think he'll ever be of any use to us. Yes he's technically gifted, is precocious enough to try unorthodox things but, IMO there isn't enough tactical intelligence or awareness of the use of space (to his or the team's advantage) to convince me he'll ever be a top level player.

I'll give him credit though, he's got a good strike rate and has played well for Dijon since being loaned there. Maybe he's found his level?
