As a harsh critic of his I concede he's performed something much closer to his reputation in the last few games, which is to say, as good if not better than anyone else playing the position. Rest and a sensible system, with a great deal more midfield cover, has all definitely helped.

Those alternate rest with Ryan Betrand has definetly given him sufficient and much needed rest here and there. Credit to RDM for trusting Ryan as well.

if we wont to prolong his career we cannot use him like we have done in the past.. he has been a machine but now you can see slowly he has to take care of the human side aswell.. he has been played to death .. the only player anywhere near in terms of matches played is Lamps...
the thins is he will again be involved in the euros and then back to pre-season.. surely should be given an extended leave..

It's amazing that people (fans of other teams) ever thought Evra was better than Cole. Evra is still having nightmares about the CL final.
Evar is having a mare.
Someone here declared Assou Ekotto to be better than Ash defensively whilst marveling at Ekotto's (relative) shooting prowess.
Still LMFAO, as I do whenever I see the Spuds no.32

Couldn't agree more, great to see a player like Bertrand actually get games for chelsea given our history with playing the young'uns (not including fa cup games against huddersfield) and the improvement in Ash has been incredible- he's working harder than I've ever seen if I'm honest, such a revitalisation and there's been a similar scenario with Mikel... surely RDM needs some credit!
