Interesting. I always sang your version, centreback. But I have also heard "Up/out from the shed." However, I have never heard Shilton's name. It has always been Pat Jennings. For me at least.

Nice one. I never thought about turning that chant against them, I always think of twisting the words of "from the lane" to whatever tickles my fancy as is the tradition. I think "just like Arsenal" would be better than "because you're usless", rhymes and has great context! It would also work great by changing the tense to make it "You'll win **** all", for when they haven't been knocked out of everything yet.

Earlier today I made a thread about this Saturday's game with a bunch of chant ideas, but it hasn't been posted yet.
