Does any one know the current situation with him(kid from Santos) is he blatently going to sign for Real Madrid ?
I did see our name linked with him but I doubt it will happen.

I read somewhere that he'd signed a pre-contract agreement with Real, but it seems Utd have got in on the act and the both are now on an equal footing to secure his signature. I don't know much about the kid apart from him being labelled the 'new Robinho' and the tug of war that's going on in terms of his potential future club contract.

I've heard rumours as well that he has signed a pre-contract with Read.

How about a partnership of him and Jean Carlos Chera in 7-10 years time...?

he is very good, one of the more prominent strikers coming out of brazil. he is a classy striker, a little on the weak side and needs to really add on about 10-20kgs of muscle before you want him anywhere near the first team. nike, real madrid and many others are already looking as him as the biggest thing out of brazil since pato came around. He is a fast tricky striker that is compared to robinho. is he worth 15 million, hmm I honestly dont know, he is good but not the same level of amazing that pato was.

Well, IMO still too young, but he will become a great striker in the future I'm sure about that...
his father wants him to stay a little longer in Brazil to get more maturity before going overseas !

We've known about Neymar since he was a kid, and players like that hardly ever reach their full potential, even if they make it professionally like J.Cole for instance, who is seen as an England first XI player, people expected higher, and they'll probably feel the same about Neymar.
I'm glad he's playing as an out-and-out striker rather than a winger, that'd work for our system as well, I'd prefer for him to come A.S.A.P if possible. So he can turn that Samba entertainment into some European Stats.

yes but quite a few of them have been due to physical training and preparation just as much as technique. these days barely any player playing in brazil gets the nod for the national team, in part because physically many of them aren't ready. Neymar is a stick, I think 178cm tall and weighing something like 65-70kg by the looks of it, thats too brittle for europe

I don't think he is going to be any better than Robinho. Pele is a stretch too far for Neymar. I don't think I'd want to sign him. I'd much rather prefer signing Dzagoev or Hazard over Neymar.
