Instead of asking Dazz to go with your idea, why don't you make/buy your own?
Then even if you don't go every week give it to a mate if he's going.
Not sure I understand what you mean. I simply said that the above mentioned idea had been done a few years back. :)
As for making one myself I will, but the problem is I am from Denmark, so I have not had the chance to go watch the blues live yet.

Could we have some ideas for a banner to be put in the MHU alongside the other ones please?
Preferably not plain blue with white writing, so maybe white trim or yellow with blue trim, you know the score.
Has anyone any ideas of what to put on a banner, or the colour scheme etc?
I did have the idea of a yellow trim top and bottom with 'The only place to be' at the top and 'Every other Saturday' at the bottom, with the Fulham Road streetsign in the middle, someone suggested the Fulham Broadway tube sign on each side. Not sure it'd be readable though so not completely sold on it.
Another idea I had was Bentley, Tambling and Harris on one side, Dixon, Zola and Wise on the other. It would be this sort of design http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_mrY4h8hhw8g/Rs9w...600/3heads2.jpg , so the Bentley, Tambling, Harris side would be an inverse of it (I.e to face the other way).
If we did that what writing could go in the middle? Needs to be fairly short I'd say.
We'd like to get this order within a fortnight, ready hopefully for Spurs, otherwise Liverpool. So really by Burnley or soon after we'd like to have decided. Will stick a poll up once we have some good suggestions.
Massive thanks to SurreyBlue, who has generously decided to dip into his pocket again.
The BORN IS THE KING banner is the best one at SB so something along that heritage line that shows how proud of our past we are ... how about 'HIS NAME IS TOMMY BALDWIN' , old school and wont date like a banner with a current player on?.

Apologies, I didn't mean to quote you!
It was meant to be a general thing to the whole room.

I think thats a good point mate, and unfortunately its something the scousers and the mancs do well with their flags and banners. Also think "OH DENNIS WISE..." would be a good one
My mate knocked a design up for on the other year which was a blue background with 2OLA : GENIU5 with the European Cup Winners Cup next to it and the 2 in Red the 5 in Green, but after he became west ham manager never got round to doing anything about it.

Me and Surrey Blue were talking yesterday and so far we're not completely sold for the wording for the six heads, and would rather get it right and not rush it. So as it stands I'm not sure there's much point of a poll.
I was hoping we'd get more suggestions, but unless we do, we're going to go the 'The Only Place To Be Every Other Saturday', with the Fulham Road streetsign in the middle and the Fulham Broadway Tube sign either side.
Does anyone have any other input or changes they'd make to that? Keep other suggestions coming still, we're not ordering it until next week and nothings fully decided yet.
Cheers

On a side note, in tribute to being the first and last to win it at the wembleys, what do people think on eventually getting one along the following lines, not the finished article but you get the idea, everything in brackets indicates it'd be a picture.
(twin towers) (Di Matteo) LAST (F.A CUP) WEMBLEY STADIUM (F.A CUP) FIRST (Drogba) (Wembley Arch)

Completely agree mate, but for this one I personally would rather we had one either about Chelsea or honouring a host of past players and not just one (hence I'd rather we didn't have one on just a single current first teamer). As I say it's up to the forums but that's my opinion, personally I'd like something like that Tommy Bladwin one in the East Upper, and to have that filled with banners in tribute to past players, that's where I'd like to retire the Tel and Frank ones to eventually.

How about replacing one of the Fulham Broadway signs with a stick/lump of celery?

I think this would be a great idea and it really is something to be proud of.

Think that would be perfect, just without the tube signs - think they might make it to busy.
The Only Place To Be (Fulham Road Street Sign) Every Other Saturday.

If we get another good idea hopefully we can raise some money and get another banner, but there's no point rushing one with something we're not set on but have got because at the time we can't think of anything better, that would be naff.
I'd still love for the three heads one, just needs some writing in the middle.
Cheers
