We have allowed Ballack to leave and by bringing in a younger and very highly skilled midfielder this will be a good move. His age is perfect and after seeing him play a few times now his energy will be great for us, and like already said he got into Brazil first 11, and you don't do that by collecting the tokens of a Kellogs box.

We will soon be without Deco and all of a sudden the midfield looks fractionally thinner than Peter Crouch, let's do this deal.

there is a reason melo got picked up from fiorentina for big money and arsenal were after him. ramires is a good player, essentially he would play the same role he plays for brazil

What do you mean by same role exactly ? He played as an unimpressed RM for Benfica in most of time, some time even LM, hardly play any center role in any occasion, Dunga strarted using him playing RM position during WC qualifies and Copa Libertadores 2009 as Elano`s replacement.

Some of you guys are deluded. Thete were games last season that showed how soft we are in the middle of the pitch. City bullied us, De Jong had his way with everbody. Same problem against Inter. We need another terrier in midfield, Ramirez is a nice fit for us

I am confident and also like what CA is supposedly looking at in the likes of Neymar and this guy Ramires. I mean we can talk about Aguero and what he would bring but that for me seems dead in the water and also I think the club are scoffing at the price labelled on him. Carlo is quite obviously looking at the average age of the team and looking at the squad now with people like Kakuta, Matic, Borini and the possible arrivals of Neymar and Ramires it all bodes well IMO.

Go watch Europa League last season the match them against pool, you will find out how pathetic this guys is as a midfielder in both attacking and defending aspect, or you can simply ask a Benfica fan, or someone who regularly watch Portuguese Liga that how unimpressive this guy is.

I doubt there CA has anything to do with those Neymar and even Ramires`s rumors.

If I'm being honest I watched the leg where benfica won. Wasnt it like 2-1? or was it a draw I rele can't remember. Even so I was watching Di Maria over anyone else.. I dont really recall Ramires at all... except I thought he was the guy on the right side?

Ye, he's played at right side, even Babel got early sent off in that game, he barely made any threat to horrible defender as Insua, in the contrary benfica`s right defending gave Pool countless chances, this pretty summed up the first match. The second game was a horror show, he was raped apart by Benayoun and Aggr.
