OK, a massive hypothetical - bear with me - if you had to choose England in a World Cup final or Chelsea in a CL final (you can only watch one), which would you?

Would watch the CL final. So I suppose I'm slightly club over country but regardless that I'll never happen and I still support England passionately. I don't see why it has to be one over the other. Although I have been disappointed about the reception our players have got at Wembley at times, it has'nt put me off.

Anyway, I know it's no ones ever going to be happy when a manager picks a squad, but I agree with most people that Hodgson has made some pretty glaring errors with his selection.

I can understand the inclusion of Jones because he can play CB and RB, I think he's been rubbish when he's played in midfield though. But so can Richards. And although you want to have some young hungry players, I think Richards is much ifurther along in his development, but still fits into that category. Jones is still raw for me. Feel sorry for Richards.

Don't think Carroll should have got in. The fourth choice striker should been a gamble, so as Holt did actually score lots goals, I think it should have been him.

I don't rate Carrick that highly but in a midfield three at least with what will likely be Gerrard and Parker you need a ball player in there who is going to sit and can play some killer balls. No problem if this is Lampard, but why not if he needs arest or get injured? Would certainly had him over Milner.

Walcott over Sturridge? Joke

Ideally I would like to have played:

Hart

Walker-Terry-Lescott-Cole

-Gerrard-Wilshere

-------Young-----

Sturridge -Welbeck-Rooney

I'd be confident that team could win the Euro's.

Due injuries and players not being including I suppose I would have:

Hart

Johnson-Terry-Lescott-Cole

Gerrard-Parker-Lampard

Ox-C-----Rooney----Young

I was fairly confident we would have a chance to win the tournament a few months ago, and I think we do have a chance, but these lads are going to have to really step it up.

I am proud to be English, I just hate Rooney, Gerrard, Ferdinand, Young and most other England players who have played in the last 15 years or so. Saying that, I always find myself getting caught up in the hysteria of the tournament.

Not including Richards, Sturridge, Adam Johnson, Carrick and Arron Lennon is a big mistake.

CL is all I care about now!
