I thought it would be an idea to start a topic to keep track of our players' stats for the season. I have only included goals and assists. If anyone would like to quote other stats for the season, or stats for a particular game (like people have done in the Mikel thread for his class display against Arsenal), they should do so here. It may also be an idea to keep track of the goals/assists of players from our rivals. This helps with comparisons, and may provide ammunition for us in debates with opposition supporters (like with the Rooney vs. Drogba debate at the end of last season, where Drogba had much better numbers!).

Assists:

For EPL games, I have used the official Premier League fantasy game's stats. I have used their assist criteria to keep track in the other competitions. If there are any assists which people would like to argue, please feel free.

Very good total for Anelka so far, considering that he got 15 in the whole of last season. Another interesting stat is that Malouda has zero assists in our 10 league games. Certainly something to work on there. I would like to see him creating a bit more, instead of spending all game looking to finish off attacks. There needs to be a bit more balance there.

But do bear in mind that he won't get an assist for his brilliant control and pass that led to Anelka's equaliser at the weekend...
