Sturridge on 8 goals and Terry on 4 is pleasing on the eye.
Not that we needed the stats to back it up but Mata is clearly doing his job.
Didn't know Luiz was banned for City. Gonna mean Bosingwa (if fit) back in at RB and Ivanovic at CB I'd imagine. Not good as Luiz has been very assured at the back in the last 3/4 games.

It would be great if this thread could also be used for any other interesting Chelsea-related stats.
I will start. In David Luiz's 6 Champions League starts this season, we have only conceded once from open play with him on the pitch (Genk away) and only twice in total (Kalou's handball for Valencia's penalty being the other).

If there's a more relevant thread for this, would one of the moderators be able to repost this there?
Some stats on Bosingwa and how his appearances correlate with the team's results
While I was accepting of him as a backup to Ivanovic, I've grown increasingly less keen. Whether the statistics are down to mere coincidence or chance, I can't refute that his errors are costing us points. He redeemed a poor headed cleance at Swansea with the equalising goal but we all know about the throw in at Everton, something which he barely tried to atone for when strolling after Pienaar.
His inward runs to a near CM position are confusing and I don't like how often he makes risky passes then absolves himself of any responsibility either.
