Since when was Alex even out of favour..he was injured for 4 months...he even forced Luiz to be benched in the last 3 games...sh*t article and sh*t journalism.

Classic Daily Mail article. No sources, none of it is correct and it is just filled with numerous useless filler facts to make it seem more substantial.

Rubbish news. There is no reason why we should be selling Alex. We need adequate replacements in case of injuries and suspensions.

So the 'great' Bruno Alves wasn't so great after all.

Zenit can forget it. If we sell Alex we will have the same problem of last season, when we started with three centre backs and a kid like Bruma.

Alex needs to stay. He's a fantastic defender, and I think the rumour is rubbish. I believe Alex will stay no matter who takes over from July.

I'd stick my neck out to say that Alex is the best defender at the club. Replacement he is not.

Definitely not. I expect him to hold the starting RCB spot, whenever he's fit.

+ 1

If only he had long curly hair he would be held in higher regard.

With Guus seemingly on his way, an Alex departure becomes even more unlikely, considering how highly the Dutchman rates him. I imagine Alex to be JT's first choice partner next season.

I imagine the same, and he really deserves it. Alex is incredible when he's on form, so he should be pared up with JT next season. Luiz can play as a rotation player and learn some discipline first ;)

Ancelotti is very good friends with Luciano Spalletti who is the Zenit manager. Could he have told him to sign Alex?

Do us a a favour Carlo, recommend the likes of Zhirkov and Kalou instead of our better players!
