IF he's actually a Chelsea target, then somebody at the club is using their smarts for a change. Imo, he's just the sort of player we should be going after.

If you watch some of the videos you will see he is already 10x the footballer Kalou is. There is no comparison.

I hope he is a better player but I found the comment aboout the white Kalou a bit strange.

Not seen him play so can't say whether he is good or not but I wouldn't take the videos as evidence he is any good.

He is not a playmaker that much is clear from the videos, he is clearly a box to box midfielder so if we do buy him, I hope that Chelsea knows that and play him in his right position, we shouldn't buy him and try to shoehorn him into something he clearly not as we have done from various players.

And I'd hope that the club would look at more than youtube videos when deciding what position to play him in.

That can't really be used as a criticism. How many failed crosses does Becks have in a game? Quite a bit. What matters is that one pass/cross that does manage to be spot on and result in a goal. He has more in that video than most of our midfielders last season.

reminds me of gerrard. good feet, quick but not massively pacey and a good shot. from what I can tell you can't trust him with too much defensive responsilbitly and he tries alot of stuff that if he played deeper might cause him problems. very very similar to gerrard, btw a similar player I dont understand chelsea never went for is the ex reading mid siggurdson or something who is at hoffenhiem.
