To the tune of "I like to move it"
Fernando Torres Torres
Fernando Torres Torres
Fernando Torres Torres

Simple and can be absolutely belted out whilst clapping.

- Fernando Torres, Chelsea's number 9 ("...Used to go out on the rob" etc.)
- Torres, Fernando Torres, why won't you score for me (to Heartbeat tune)
- I just can't get enough / Fernando Torres version
Plus the basic "Torres! Torres!" that more people join in for.
One day we'll settle on one!

I could accept the first two, even though I had to really grit my teeth for "wont you score for me".
I do however draw the line at ripping the Suarez song (celtic whatever) completely off liverpool, makes me feel so small time!
In fact the majority of the shed just started clapping to it like seals on Saturday when my attempts for a Ramires (RAMBO RAMBO RAMBO or RAMIRES oohh benifca top geeza) were met with snubs!
Anyway rant over.
Wont you score for me has a certain emotional plea that I quite like at the moment.
EDIT: spelling

It's becoming increasingly embarrassing how we are outsung both home and away.
We need some songs that all areas of the ground can join in with and they need to be as simple as possible.
Another thing I've noticed, particularly with the European fans, is that, to a man, they sing at the top of their voices whilst we tend to give it lip service.
Maybe a safe standing area or two would help?

Couldn't agree more, one of the things I love about European trips is the noise the opposition make can't wait for Napoli next month will easily be one of the best atmospheres I would have seen.

For our players, yes. But away fans in particular have been known to create some very witty, spur of the moment chants.
It's a shame we don't chant the players names more often than just when they are bought on, just scored a goal or done something especially good. The only players who get there name sung at any time of the game are Luiz, Terry and Torres.
I'm all up for a simple 'Torres, Torres, Torres' as at least that catches on.
I don't want us to become like United or Liverpool where every song is based off some 1980s pop song.

A decent song that everyone joins in with must be a huge boost to the player on the pitch especially if it's an original and not one of those Man Ure or Scouse/Celtic "insert name of player" re-hashes.
There are two main reasons why the west and east stands don't join in to most of the songs;
1). 90% of songs have swear words
2) there are so many football tourists that they can't pick up the words.
I stand by my torres song above to avoid both. You could even add the musical verse in between the choruses for some bouncy bouncy action! (I'm probably going too far there...... Any thoughts?

Does this catch on in any decent numbers?

I feel awkward about that one because "why won't you score for me" sounds more like we're saying "play the f*** up" than actually being supportive.
