Damn you guys are talking as if we are interested and have some chance of signing this guy. As per Chelseas policy defenders first hence let's focus on Cahill and Rodwell, though less interesting than Lucas.

lucas is a great player, cross between hulk and ramires, only problem is he has the penchant for one man stuff too much, if you play him in midfield dont expect anything other then a counter attacking team. bit like anderson before manU made him something he isn't. still think anderson could be a good player for chelsea but would be happy with lucas.

Lucas' agent say along with Inter & Liverpool, we have tried to submit official bids, but Lucas would only consider leaving in June.

Is it Ribeiro who said that? then I can expect after a few days he'll push him to Madrid, making amends for Neymar failure.

They only by overrated bristish players for huge prices.

Chelsea and Inter are bidding for 19-year-old Sao Paulo center Lucas, "Uol Esporte" reports. His agent, Wagner Ribeiro said he had solid proposals from Chelsea through sports agent Fifa Pini Zahavi for 30 million euro. "But I have also had an offer for 20 million euro from Inter." said Ribeiro, "But nothing is going to happen because Sao Paulo doesn't want to sell Lucas and he doesn't want to leave."

I don't know, but I have a feeling we might just pull this deal off. Maybe our Brazilians can tell him a few nice words about England, especially Piazon(he is also from Sao Paulo remember) :)

It's something we should go all out for. This kid could become the best in the world. Perhaps we can't bring him in this January, but we should work on a deal for the Summer.

Update Lucas Moura / Sao Paulo / Chelsea : This morning , Agent Wagner Ribeiro confirmed in an interview that He received 2 concrete offers for the 19-year old attacking midfielder . 30M euros from Chelsea and 20M euros from Inter Milan . He said that He wont be able to close a deal unless 1- Sao Paulo wants to sell and 2- Lucas Moura wants to leave .

An hour ago , Sao Paulo Vice-President Joao Paulo de Jesus Lopes went on a radio and said : " I have a very good relationship with Wagner Ribeiro who is taking care of his clients . We have no intention to sell Lucas . We will politely decline any offer made for him "
