When asked about Neymar, he outright said no.
When asked about Hazard recently he said he likes the player
When asked about Azpilicueta he outright said No, no transfer.
I think we have pretty much a truth teller when it comes to incoming transfers any way, if we are not going to pursue the player at all, then he'd say so.
That's what I think so far, just based on his pattern in the summer

Anyone remember Chapi (Albert Ferrer). So good even SAF admired him.
Tough tackling, got forward. Thats what we have been missing

If we make a right back transfer, this transfer should be mauricio isla. He is a little week in defense but Cahill can cover him easily. I think he is a lot better than azpullcueta and he is a lot stronger than him. He can be a great transfer for us and we can buy him for a decent price! He will also provide a flexibility because he can play in different position.

I don't think Guardiola's tinkering with 3-4-3 has been beneficial at all, let alone approaching dominant. In fact, I think it's contributed to their stuttering this season, their results suffer because they end up reverting to 4-3-3 and, at times, need to chase the game. It could be due to how awkwardly they play in that formation (as if the prize for winning the match was a punch in the face) and not necessarily the formation itself but that's another topic.
Ramos is only playing CB because he has Arbeloa, who can play RB or LB if needed, and Ricardo Carvalho just got back from an injury he sustained months ago. Jose likes his staggered CB's, one attacks, the other covers, setup and for me, Pepe and Albiol are both attack the ball too much.
I have a feeling he'd have the same feeling about JT/Luiz, but that's an aside.
Ramos is still first choice RB, but he also is a decent CB too. Difference is that I think Ramos started as a midfielder/CB and Azpilicueta has always been right sided.
As far as Barcelona goes, the 3-4-3 has been beneficial against teams that play 2 strikers. Effectively, they control the middle. I think they started in that formation because for much of the early season, they were missing both Pique and Puyol with injury and were playing Busquets, Mascherano, and Abidal as a back 3 because none of their other CB's are quite ready. They also kind of got stuck in that formation now with the injury to David Villa, meaning they don't really have an effective inside left player (Pedro is better on the right. Sanchez right or middle), and the re-integration of Fabregas and how well he works with Messi.
It's amazing, really, because that formation has fused two unorthodox positions in the "false 9" and the "false 10." It's really quite something. Cruyff may have invented Total Football, but Barcelona are bringing it to life at a time when I didn't really think it would be successful.

Interesting thing about Isla is he's almost more of a right-sided midfielder than a defender. There's a reason that he seemed to play better in the Bielsa system than in the Udinese system as a right back. Different responsibilities.
I don't think we're quite ready, squad-wise, to play a RB that is that attacking. Until we fix the two interior triangles and get them balanced, we need an all-around RB.

+1
He had a fantastic game and considering at the relatively low price to sign him, we should DEFINITELY buy him! He will definitely suit AVB's style better than Bosingwa and Ivanovic!

Personally I'm happy with Ivanovic starting at RB but if we got him that'd be brilliant
