Pogba is not a defensive midfielder & I was asked to compare talents, as I've said before I have no problem doing so, even if Pogba was a DM.
It is harder to compare players in different positions, those that find it too difficult to do so, should appreciate that & continue to act as if it is impossible.

I ask Alan Nixon on twitter yesterday and he replied me we may make a decision whether to sign him soon. Doubt it's true, but even it's true don't think it can happen today though.
