Anyone for a dyk?

Yet another strange one to laugh at. Another young goalkeeper to join Chelsea, this time we're apparently siging a 16 year old kid, so we can let Courtois stay on loan.... Go figure.

Depends how deep in the future we look. Cortuois is getting a lot of praise at Athletico right now for instance and could challenge Cech to a spot.

I'd seriously look to play him next season ahead of Cech. At least in pre-season/first few league games and see how he goes. Might just have another Cudicini/Cech scenario pan out. No real harm in doing so, then decide before the window closes if you send him out on loan again or keep him.

He has been by far the better keeper this season but he won't be getting a chance here because he isn't experienced enough. Instead we'll give Cech a new deal.
I swear if Cech played for a weaker side he'd be considered the worst in the league. We only get put under pressure a couple of times in a game and he makes a mistake almost every game.

And an interesting stat I found yesterday, Cech has by far the worst saves to goals ratio in the league.

Nothing interesting IMO. He has made a couple mistakes this season and the chances we give away to opposition are clear cut chances more often than not.

I dont get the point in us buying these young kids, they will never play for us. And if they do it wont be for more than two seasons. What I find even more confusing is that they are willing to come here when they wont get promoted ever to the first team.

Yeah. I think it's more of a reflection of how few saves he has to make. When opposition score there is usually not much Cech can do about it. Usually its cleared by defenders in front of him, if not its usually too late.
