A better performance for sure, but Bolton were really bad. Relegation-favourites bad.

I doubt this will be the game that reignites our season, but confidence has to be taken. AVB looked a wreck, even after the final whistle. He's taking it harder than anyone so I really hope he builds on the positives from today.

He has been poor, but Meireles has been far worse. Ramires, Essien and Mikel in midfield would be desperately lacking in creativity.

The difference being that Lampard has, quite rightly, sat comfortably in the starting eleven for the past decade. Whilst players should always be chosen on merit, Lamps needs to face playing more of a bit-part role in the years to come. It's about finding the balance between breaking up the establishment and picking up points. Of course, on today's performance and given our current form, FL definitely deserves a start against West Brom.

Lampard is at this moment neither the saviour of the team nor should he be a scapegoat. When things were going badly every player save 1 or 2 were playing terribly and one of the few in the playing well category was Cech, a keeper. There is no disputing Lampard is on the wane and against the top teams particularly this is shown up glaringly.

u r kidding me?
Scored today and he now deserves to play every game?
Did you watch those games where he was so so poor?

You aren't reading the post correctly - he said play more often as he is our top scorer.

Lampard is the FIRST player ever to score 10+ goals in 9 consecutive PL seasons.

Draw at le arsenal match would be ideal.

I'd probably rather Spurs won. I'm not sure we've got a hope of catching them.
