  1. Media / Press

The whole thing is on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBpohjHmveI
  2. “I categorically deny that I am the new Manchester City coach, nothing has been signed and no agreement reached. I have an agreement with Málaga not to talk to anyone and nothing has been agreed with any other outfit. I hope the future of this Club will become somewhat clearer in the next few days.” - Pellegrini Big, big difference between saying nothing is signed or agreed and categorically stating you are not leaving. Half-truths don't get much more obvious than this. He's going to City.
  3. Its interesting how the reports of Mou coming back were treated with caution and a reluctance to believe it until its done but the slim chance of him going to Utd is really worrying some here.
  4. There is no risk attached to appointing Mou. That's not to say that it wont come with fair dose of media negativity somewhere along the way, but that's the deal. We all know it. Roman knows it too. And it's not like we are media darlings now. All the stories about hiring and firing managers, having a ruthless enigmatic owner, senior players running the show, romans adivisors etc etc. We have become a running joke for pundits and journos alike, saying how managing us is a dream job because you will get fired within with a few months and get a massive pay-off. Its no better now than it was before, just less venomous as it comes from a place of pity rather than hatred. Mou is confrontational by nature and uniting a group against those who are against him, and by extension us, is one of his main strengths. He is also the best manager available and that is all that should matter. I'd personally have him back in a heartbeat and I can understand the apprehensions based on his past. But after rationally thinking about I would come to the same conclusion and more importantly I think Roman has too.
  5. This is 100% going to happen unless Roman decides otherwise. Appointing Jose isn't as straight forwards however, what with the structure that is in place now, which would need to be abolished to accomodate him. If anything is going to prevent this from happening it would be that.
  6. If Jose is offered full control on footballing matters including transfers and a youth system that matches his philosophy he would without a doubt take the job.
  7. I would love, love, love for Jose to come back but long term I'm almost certain that he will press the self destruct button and we would be back to square 1.
  8. On misfiring Fernando Torres, Benitez added: ‘If the striker is not scoring, the rest of the team have to create more chances for him. My idea isn’t just to improve Fernando, but the whole team. I have to agree. Not necessarily about creating chances for Torres but that we need to create more chances. I feel that with the players we have we should be creating a lot more open chances during games and if he can somehow improve that, our forwards, not just Torres, will benefit.
  9. Official: Chelsea Sack Di Matteo

How can anyone honestly say that because RDM dropped Torres he got sacked? Say it out loud and I hope you realize how pathetic you sound. RDM was never Romans choice and if anything, from his perspective, this decision came 6 months too late.
  10. Official: Chelsea Sack Di Matteo

Lets leave all sentiment at the door please. There is no room for it in football. RDM never was Romans guy, never has been, never will be. It was easier to keep him last year than to look for a new manager when we ditched AVB. The fact that we won the CL meant RDM was un-sackable. It would have been the same with Avram in 08. I also don't buy all this "lose a couple of games and get sacked" none-sense. We have had lots of stop gaps polluting the numbers and in my opinion bar Jose and possibly Carlo, all where justified. Robbie's a top geezer and I wish him all the best.
  11. If I have one criticism about his general play it is that he tries to do too much sometimes. When his dribbles come off they look great (won a pen) and he had a nice one against Reading. But trying them too much (and failing) can get frustrating and I think he should play the simple pass more often. Overall I like what I have seen though and to be honest its no real surprise as I always believed we wouldn't see the best of Torres until Drogba left. 3 in 4 games is a good start to the season and I hope he keeps it up.
  12. César Azpilicueta

az·pi·li·cu·e·ta Its not that difficult unless his first name is the issue...
  13. César Azpilicueta

    http://www.ibtimes.com/sportsnet/soccer/chelsea-transfer-news-fee-terms-agreed-for_749.htm Looks legit.
  14. John Terry

Anyone is allowed to turn up and follow proceedings in court so you're fine there. If you get there early enough you have as much chance as any to get in.
