Tuchel seemingly confirms the rumours about him and Borussia Dortmund were true -
He's been below par today, as has Jorgi (even before the sending off)

Fantastic interview. Well worth the watch -
It is bitter to see Haaland get a hat trick the day we have confirmation of Lukaku signing but alas. Haaland clearly didn't want to be here and Dortmund were never interested in selling him this window. Not a fan of Lukaku but if he does his job and gets us 20+ league goals I'm sure that will change. He will also feel like he has unfinished business here which can work in our favour, especially considering that he seems to be an emotional type of guy that wears his heart on his sleeve. It has been an underwhelming window no doubt but nothing was going to top last summer. It feels almost greedy wanting another blockbuster window after the one we had last time.

If you're still not convinced then you don't want to be convinced! He's a top player with a glaring weakness (athleticism) which he ameliorates with his clever positioning and general all round football IQ. When opp teams target his weakness he can look sub standard but 9/10 times he's effective and very good at what he does.

Manchester City 0 CHELSEA 1 CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WINNERS 2020/21

This team and group of players is special. Bring in a Haaland or an Mbappe and we could run away with the lot. An incredible start to this young team. With good management (on all levels, both coaching and the board) we could end up winning a lot of trophies over the next couple of years. -

Brilliant! What a group we have on our hands. I really hope they can go on now and build a legacy together. The future is so bright -
https://twitter.com/27khv/status/1384569382525865990?s=20 Word in Moscow is that Roman Abramovich is about to pull Chelsea out of the Super League project. The club feel they were misled (mainly by officials from Liverpool). It also appears Zenit Saint Petersburg were approached to take part, but they decided not to engage.

Maybe it's a matter of opinion and perspective but I see Jorginho and Kova doing this all the time. Both are quality on the ball. I think Jorginho's calm demeanor on the pitch really works against him when it comes to fans forming their opinions. He regularly receives the ball, turns, draws opponents in before releasing the ball perfectly to a team mate. He's certainly not the most athletic though I'll give you that

I wouldn't worry too much about Mason Mount being left out of the first 11 vs Wolves. He will play his way into the team very soon, perhaps as soon as the next game. He's really far too good a player to ignore. -

Kovacic has been exceptional this season, building on his largely excellent form from last season. Great to see him flourish under Frank's guidance and not being stifled under SARRIball

Agree 100%. I backed Kepa right to the end but he was so aggressively bad at times it was ridiculous. Costing us goals non-stop every single time he played. Mendy deserves much of the credit as does the defense, who seem to be improving massively under the coaching of Anthony Barry and Frank. It was also nice to see the players applauding Oli on social media. Our team spirit seems to be at an all time high. I'm so excited by what Frank is building here right now. The potential of this team long term is insane.

Top class performance. Even Emerson had a good game. Rudiger long range passing was class. Perfect night all round
