  1. Injury News

Best Left back in the world, makes me cringe thinking of going through the whole champions league knock out without him. Huge blow for chelsea, England and the man himself. He'll be gutted if we make the champions league final and he can't play. I hope for a speedy recovery as a chelsea fan and as an England fan. Time for Zhirkov to step up.
  2. Non Chelsea: Premier League

He's definitely improved since spurs sacked their goalkeeper coach. He made some quality saves, especially against giggs and ji sung park. BTW, did you see Sir Alex's little scramble near the dugout, tipped his hat off to the tottenham supporters... pretty funny. So now that's three out of the big four that have concluded with a draw this weekend...
  3. Salomon Kalou

This is most likely going to be decided on what sort of business we're going to be doing in January. If we bring in a new forward player(s) then consider selling Kalou. I believe we got him for £8m... Trying to squeeze arsenal for more money would be nice. Edit: Just read through more of that article... I'm really not liking this Munatri fellow, Sulley Muntari claims his Ghana team mate Michael Essien is set to join him and former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho at Inter. I'm not sure munatri realizes that if Essien would go to Inter (lol!) he would instantly take muntari's place...

  5. Didier Drogba

I read this as " Want him to leave ASDA."
  6. always nice to see someone on the boards with a little bit of sense!

  7. Didier Drogba

    easier said than done.
  8. Ashley Cole

Kippax, as someone who once supported the richest club in the world, a piece of advice would be not to get too ahead of yourself with all this Man City transfer business. Simply being linked with mega money transfers for world class players doesn't mean they'll end up at your club (in Chelsea's case: Steven Gerrard, Ronaldinho etc). Your going to come across players who aren't going to want to play for you, and right now Manchester City isn't very appealing for ambitious world class players, sure you might tempt a player or two (or even hijack a deal about to go through) but I think it's safe to say that the likes of Buffon, Kaka, Aguero, Benzema, Terry (lol!) won't be signing at the eastlands. I think players like Zaki and Podolski are more realistic targets for January and once you can offer champions league and a realistic title challenge then you will be able to easily sign world stars. BTW, just so I make sure I seem like an even bigger ***, you may be doing well in the UEFA cup but AC Milan are going to be winning that one and yes, you are out of the title race... Now to end on a positive, good luck against United, I'm hoping City can do a double over them again this season! 6-0 for city with Robinho and Ireland sharing the goals would do my fantasy team beautifully ;)
  9. John Terry

he then immediatley said: "but, I don't know... I don't think that Manchester City..." and then stops himself (he speaks fantastic English by the way) link: http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11854_4554394,00.html
  10. Didier Drogba

agreed. hopefully the infamous Chelsea board will allow Scolari to sort this out sooner than later and Roman shells out a little cash for a striker or two come January.
  11. Didier Drogba

It just seemed to me like you were saying "If Mourinho can't do it, then how the hell could Scolari?" as if insisting that Scolari is incapable of doing his job and that Mourinho is the pinnacle of football managers. That's why I said in my previous post "I don't know if you're trying to have a dig at Scolari here". I perceived your original post incorrectly, because depending on how you read it, it can seam like nothing more than a dig on Scolari. Now that you've elaborated though, I see your point: 'everyone is rushing to say that it's a great idea because Scolari will turn Adriano around'. I'm one of those people who think that Scolari could get the best out of Adriano though, I'm not sure why but I do. I think it has something to do with the level of Brazilian comradery between the two, and I also feel like a lot of the Brazilian players have a certain respect for Scolari because of the world cup. I don't know about you but I think that we've seen the best of Belletti and Alex (Brazilians) under Scolari. Also it may just be hope because at the rate things are going Drogba is going to be leaving and we desperatley need a striker with hardley any money to spend (if reports are to be believed), so our best option may be to just swap Drogba for Adriano... who knows what the future holds though KTBFFH!
  12. Didier Drogba

I don't know if you're trying to have a dig at Scolari here, but could you give the Mourinho stuff a rest. Yes he's the best manager Chelsea ever had, yes I love him as well but he's off at inter now and he's not on our side anymore. Personally, I think Scolari would do a great job at getting performances out of Adriano regardless of what Mourinho thinks about him.
  13. True Chelsea boy right here, nice to see you on the boards mate! Love how your always positive about the team you love regardless of the results!
