Kippax, as someone who once supported the richest club in the world, a piece of advice would be not to get too ahead of yourself with all this Man City transfer business. Simply being linked with mega money transfers for world class players doesn't mean they'll end up at your club (in Chelsea's case: Steven Gerrard, Ronaldinho etc). Your going to come across players who aren't going to want to play for you, and right now Manchester City isn't very appealing for ambitious world class players, sure you might tempt a player or two (or even hijack a deal about to go through) but I think it's safe to say that the likes of Buffon, Kaka, Aguero, Benzema, Terry (lol!) won't be signing at the eastlands. I think players like Zaki and Podolski are more realistic targets for January and once you can offer champions league and a realistic title challenge then you will be able to easily sign world stars. BTW, just so I make sure I seem like an even bigger ***, you may be doing well in the UEFA cup but AC Milan are going to be winning that one and yes, you are out of the title race... Now to end on a positive, good luck against United, I'm hoping City can do a double over them again this season! 6-0 for city with Robinho and Ireland sharing the goals would do my fantasy team beautifully ;)
