Yes, especially when he say things like this. http://www.dailymail...on-England.html -
Fantastic news to see him sign a new contract though it was just an improvement in the contract terms from the one he signed last year.

Until AVB proves himself in the big stage, he'll be nothing more than a one season wonder. -
Really pleased that we signed Azpilicueta over Maicon, who is already aging and on the decline. With time, Azpilicueta will be a top quality RB for us. Hope he gets his opportunities soon over Ivanovic. The latter has been in dire form. His defending has went completely missing since the pre-season!

Quoted this from somewhere else on that.

AVB is just being a bitter man right now having seen what RDM accomplished after he left. Everything he has said about us since he joined us shows he's still a delusional and naive man. -
Hope we get him. Quality player. Have been endorsing him for awhile now. And here is a scouting report on Azpilicueta comparing him with Bosingwa. http://www.whoscored.com/Blog/d1blnqgdt0-d_mgvgj03-g/Show/WhoScored-Scout-Cazorla-Azpilicueta-Michu He's definitely an upgrade on Bosingwa!

Decent signing for Lille. Good luck to him there.

Maybe but we all know that AVB is a stubborn man and he may try to do things at Spurs just like what he did here with us in trying to prove people wrong. Who knows? Could easily work out nicely for him or it could turn out to be another disaster. -

Torres was offered the chance to take one in the FA Cup against Birmingham last season but he refused and then he wants to take one in Champions League final?! That is just BS. He has hardly taken penalties in his career and his last one was like 3-4 years ago. Torres wanted to take the penalty in Munich simply because he wanted to feel that he played a major role in helping us to win the Champions League, more so than he is feeling confident about it and that sometimes can mess one's head up in a high pressure situation like that! -

Maybe we should bring back Ancelotti. ;) -
Just like Bosingwa, he wasn't the best of players in the squad but he usually gives his all whenever he plays and contributed to the successes we had down the years. Fair play to him. All the best in his future.

Not best pleased about his appointment at Spurs. Having mixed emotion regarding it. His career could well be over if his reign there turns out to be another disaster. On the other hand, the clashes now with Spurs has gotten even more interesting... -

What I would like Mata to improve first and foremost is his penalty taking skill. He missed 3 of his 4 penalties last season for us including the one in Munich. All 4 of his penalties were targeted to the bottom corner and worst of all is that Mata always go for placement before anything else and if the GK can guess it the right way, then he's pretty much screwed. He seriously needs to work on that as he's gonna become one of our main penalty takers from next season onwards. Should try to pick up anything useful from Lampard on the penalties. -

You got it right there but he did have 2 assists against Spurs and 1 against Liverpool in the FA Cup. He setup both Ramires and Malouda against Spurs while setting Ramires clean through for the 1st goal against Liverpool. In the league, he had 2 assists against QPR. 1 for Terry and the other was for Torres's 3rd.
