Chelsea should have just sold Cuadrado to Juventus or any other club even for a lot less than we bought for as the club will be lucky to get one quarter of what we paid for him, if sold next summer if there is any truth to the rumours on how Juventus rate him. The rumour say Juve rate him as a last resort type of player as they couldn't get any of the players playing in his position they wanted and he is probably is Turin just there to make up the number.
  2. Official: Pedro Signs For Chelsea

Good luck Pedro, He should offer some pace and goals to the attack, he most likely play a similiar role to Schurrle but hopeful he should be a lot more consistent because of his experience.

I doubt we are after Pedro, probably his agent or Barca are using Chelsea's name to threaten united who instead of paying his buy out fee are trying to negotiate to buy him cheaper.

One can only pray that this 30 million bid for Stone was made up by the press as the club cannot seriouly be making that kind of bid when we have been holding on just fine in the summer window only for a defeat to change everything as if the club didn't know that they needed some reinforcement entering into the transfer window. If the club is now willing to pay that amount, then you have to wonder about our priorities as a central defender should be low on our needs when we are desperately crying out for another great playmaker and a great central midfield player.

Can anyone blame TFC wife for talking BS, she probably sees Jose as a love rival since her husband is obsessed with him and is probably talking about him always, she is competing with Jose for the TFC affection. :)

^^ Cuadrado's value would mostly reduce again so like you I hope Chelsea takes the money offered to them by any club interested in him, chuck it up to making a bad buy in the winter transfer window instead of been stubborn and continuing hoping that he improves to become a more valuable member of the team.

The problems I have with some of this players we are rumoured to be after is not so much the quality of such players but Jose's will to play such players that don't have the talent to challenge with the guys in the starting eleven and if last season is anything to go by, they would just make pointless signings as Jose would hardly play them. Last season showed that our star players played almost all the games irrespective of their form and only had games off through suspensions and injuries, if we aspire to challenge for both the champions league and the league next season, then Jose has to either start trusting the squad players for rotation or just go out and get more stars as our already small squad of last season, looked smaller with Jose's refusal to play certain players.

The reason Jose wouldn't buy Oxlade Chamberlain has nothing to do with the work he does without the ball but rather his poor injury record, that is the one thing that Jose wouldn't tolerate having an injury prone player in his squad.

Drogba is better than our second choice striker last season (Torres) but not our third choice striker last season (Ba), I have no idea what went on between Ba and Jose last season but I believe if Ba and Torres roles in the squad were swapped around, we might not have ended up trophyless last season. I would have also preferred for Ba to be our third choice striker this season but no way was he going to stay on this season given that he could barely getting game time and we went on to upgrade our first and second choice strikers.

If Milan can break Torres loan contract, they might return him to Chelsea as soon as the January transfer window as he been that much of a worthless signing, he is already giving Inzaghi a headache as he can't drop Torres to the bench without the pressure from the Milan board to keep picking him and he is stuck with playing him regularly when he isn't performing.

That is also unlikely to happen until the summer of 2016 at the earliest, If he doesn't pick up an inury before the end of the season, he is going to be playing at the Copa America next summer. I also believe with the options we have at the AM postions this season, we will be able to rotate more efficently and this should have an impact on the form of Oscar making him perform better as he might not be need to play as many minutes as he did the previous two seasons at Chelsea. You rightly pointed out the he's tired' excuse would only stop when he has less games to play as he has a very brutal schedule with the Brazilian national team as unlike his other Chelsea team mates who regularly get called up alonsgide him, he gets to play most times the full games which they remain on the bench plus the travelling to South America to play for the national team adding to the toil on Oscar.

^^ Is they not a chance of Milan cancelling the deal before the end of the two years since he is moving on a loan instead of a permanent transfer, so he could become Chelsea's problem again and his performances for Milan could determine if we have to go through this tedious process of trying to move him to another club again.

The club really did well in the transfer market this summer and getting rid of Torres was the hardest task of all to accomplish and we are so close to doing so, maybe Milan lab can help fix Torres as they are supposed to be magicians working there.

Luis Muriel would be the striker that would best fit the club and the one Chelsea should be going for as he has all the right attributes to a success in this league and although he isn't a prolific goal scorer yet. He is one of those strikers that if things click for him, you can see him becoming a prolific goal scorer with the potential he has and been classed as world class in the future plus costing a fortune then and if he doesn't work out, the worst you can expect is a striker who plays well but doesn't score a lot of goals and if he does work out, then we get a striker who plays well and scores a lot of goals.
  15. Champions League draw 2014-2015

The club couldn't have asked for a easier group in the first round of the champions league. I hope we qualify with a game or two to spare so that we can test how some of the players on the fringes on how they cope with Champions league football. It also seem this is another season of Man City getting knocked out in the first round as they were drawn in a tough group.
