So Citeh have bought Haaland for £85M (including fees). Hope he’s a big a flop as Lukaku (although I reckon we all know the answer to that!)

It's ridiculous isn't it? How much money have they lost when clubs were trying to buy him before the start of this season?

I wonder if his agent was still alive if he would have cost more?

AND why didn't we try to buy him instead of the Wardrobe

(or maybe we did...and he didn't want to come here)

We did. The transfer fee, wages and agents fees being demanded were off the scale. He'd still have been a far better investment than the striker we ended up with.

Dont forget he has a buy out clause so he can go to a big club in two years .

City can afford to let him do that , nobody else can .
