Everyonesallowedanopinion Report post Posted May 15 Looks like Tottenham have just been given a massive helping hand from VAR and Kevin Friend, penalty awarded for handball by Barnes, no way can he get his arm out of the way from around 18 inches, so 1-0 to Tottenham, intresting that the commentator said 30 seconds before , that he's heard that the VAR referee has told Friend to go and have a look for himself, so it proves that BT AND SKY are in touch with Stockley park and if that's the case then surely they can influence Stockley park if their cameras pick up something that VAR might have missed? I and a few others have been saying the same for months . The PGMOL are in cahoots with SKY and the Premier League to insure the league is interesting from top to bottom . That a broadcaster (Sky, BT, BBC, ITV, whoever) can hear the communication between the referee and those operating VAR does not mean they can interject with their own thoughts... no more than you hearing the commentary from your TV can interact with the commentator!
