Zola got West Ham a good result which is also a decent result for us, Liverpool only a point ahead and our goal difference is like a point so still in the balance.I was actually pretty worried about them going 3 points clear, the confidence and motivation it would have given them to push on... but got a feeling they may struggle in coming weeks without Torres, and even when he returns it will take him a couple of games to get back in form.

did anyone see the game btw? I had Livescore.com up to keep up-to-date with the score and could just see the whole Gerard scoring at the Kop end in last minute situation happening...

Rafael starts another game for United today.

I was reading some old sites about him and his twin brother Fabio (who, funnily enough, plays on the left defence) and one of them said Fabio is the more talented of the two.

Now either Rafael is the quicker learner, or scratch another error for a site.

Saw the second half of the Spurs-United game. Gomes had a great showing in the second half. Quality half from him after a few gaffes.

He's definitely improved since spurs sacked their goalkeeper coach. He made some quality saves, especially against giggs and ji sung park.

BTW, did you see Sir Alex's little scramble near the dugout, tipped his hat off to the tottenham supporters... pretty funny.

So now that's three out of the big four that have concluded with a draw this weekend...

If we win tomorrow, we will open a seven point lead over Man United which might become ten if we beat Everton next week. Man United are scheduled to play their postponed fixture against Wigan two days after we face them in January. A win is imperative tomorrow to build some momentum going into the congested fixture list around Christmas.

He is stuck up his own a***. Ok he was phenomenal last year, but this is twice in a matter of 7 days he has done this.

Apart from this, it has all worked out well for us to reclaim top spot.

I think that will kill United tbh. People say stuff like "they will probably win the games in hand so they will only be 4 points off". But as far as I'm concerned regardless of the games in hand, if they are that much behind the pace they will feel the pressure and crack.
