Sciatika Report post Posted April 8 I think £100m is an excessive amount to pay for someone whose main trick appears to be winning fouls. Professional players will learn his tricks (as they do most opponents) and increasingly they will leave a foot in or a surreptitious scrape of the boot down his leg. His injury history reads shinbone, calf, calf, shinbone, ankle, Achilles. It is not his fault that he cost a lot, but it means that every performance that is even slightly below par will be noted and the consequence will be the memory of a player who never quite performed as expected. PL still doing nothing, year after year whilst their product is tainted. https://www.spiegel.de/international/europe/sponsorship-money-paid-for-by-the-state-a-2ad5b586-1d82-4a21-8065-f3c081cd91a4 Seems the Spanish media picked up on the story https://amp.marca.com/en/football/manchester-city/2022/04/07/624f3c69e2704ed0818b45f6.html. Funny enough the English press haven't - maybe they are waiting to take us down first

I cannot abide Grealish. He's a vastly overrated p****ck who hopefully will burn himself out before too long and disappear into obscurity. Rant over. Quite punchy for you, Jane! Not that I disagree, and how can anyone. 9 hours ago, Michael Tucker said: I'm with you, Jane. He's a complete tosser, who always looks to me like he needs a good bath.. Yes. Odious little man. Glad he has been taken down a peg or two. His move has proved that he really isn't as good as he thinks he is.

It seems the PL have spent 3 years investigating. Not sure why a) it's taken them so long to investigate and b) they've yet to do anything about it.

The timing of the release of the article and the acknowledgement of it by the MSM now, just before the title decided v Liverpool is not lost on me or the City fans. This is not the first time this has happened with the story/City and I would also remind you all of the timing of Lukakugate earlier in the season, 3 weeks after the interview. This is 'scouser propaganda' all over again.

For me Brady was a player...Currie as I remember was another almost man...a "better" RLC...great sometimes flashy other times ..all silver no gold!...FWIW I actually played against his brother but not the same class at all. Remember it was a while ago and memory plays tricks! I mentioned Hutch a while back...no show boater but loved by the faithful...if the players mentioned in context had his endevour they would have been World Beaters. Just the musing of an Old Geezer! Ps edit....I had a mate who played with Rodneee....said he was I quote "Mad..a nutter"...I think he mean't unconventional not clinically insane!
