Catching up here as well, but if this is the case that it's most definitely a step in the right direction. The club has always been quite specific about the titles they give staff.

But does it really matter in the grand scheme/structure that CFC have in place? As you have rightly pointed out several times, the 'stability' at CFC comes from having a board structure that makes decisions as and when needed. If the coach or manager isn't going to get time or lion's share of control of transfers (or at least the power to veto an RA vanity buy, transfer inaction or potential poor acquisition by others in the structure), of what use is the title of manager? How does it differ from a coach in that scenario?
