The scouting needs to be extensive when taking players from Bundesliga. We need to stop looking at goals scored/assisted in those leagues as any kind of a metric to judge a player. I think almost all the managers would struggle to rebuild a team on a budget while keeping it sustainable at a high level, specially when the budget is minimalistic as in Liverpool or BVB. Even with way high budget, we seem to be in an eternal transition since 2012. People seem to forget how mediocre this Liverpool club had become and what heights they reached in the last 5 years.
