Chelsea-Till-I-Die Report post Posted March 2, 2014 We sound like a broken record but it's truer every single game that passes - this is a must-win game!We must win this game by hook or by crook, there's simply no telling how Man City will respond to the pressure of having to recover a 9 point gap. If we keep winning our games we simply will win this thing and it must roll on here.I expect Tottenham under Sherwood will be, well, Tottenham under Sherwood. The first goal will (naturally) be huge but perhaps even more than normal as, if we get it, I can see us battering them on the day. Hopefully it pans out like that. One thing's for sure we're not going to see Tottenham turn up to the Bridge and stick 11 behind the ball in their box.COME ON YOU CHELS!!! Theafonis Report post Posted March 2, 2014 Schurrle upfront please. This has the potential to be an entertaining open game. 4-2 to us, Spurs will take the lead into half time at 2-1, we'll rally back to beat them for the win.
Orange Blue Report post Posted March 2, 2014 Really annoying game last season. I thought we would blow them out of the water and kill their CL-hopes there and then, but they just kept hanging on and eventually got the point. They are more solid this season. It's only really those games against City and Liverpool they've crumbled in. Offensively they are utterly uninspiring though, and if we keep mistakes to a minimum, I can't see them scoring. Lampen Report post Posted March 2, 2014 I see an easy victory. Spurs haven't turned up against the other top teams. Why should they suddenly be good. 2-
Scooba Report post Posted March 2, 2014 We should win this. Hopefully start all guns blazing and try get an early goal or two. After the hat trick it will be hard to leave out Schurrle but Jose also has a fresh Willian to consider as well. I would love to see a front 4 of - Eto'oSchurrle - Hazard - Willian But I think Oscar will start in place of either Schurrle or Willian.

Then you can still have Hazard, Willian and Oscar. Hazard and Schurrle really looked like they could develop a real understanding. He made runs that Torres doesn't consider. stokerino Report post Posted March 3, 2014 But Schurrle managed to excel when allowed to run inside from deep (past one sleeping defender). Stick him up front and in the middle with two centrebacks on him and he won't be as likely to carve out similar opportunities...particularly if Spurs defend deep at the Bridge. He needs someone else to occupy a defender or two up top, allowing him to be intelligent in the runs he makes and find a lot more space. I think he may struggle leading the line. fillerywhereru Report post Posted March 3, 2014 I struggle to enjoy games against this lot as it's always so important. They are always close games as said above we have to win by hook or by crook I'm going for 2-1 or maybe they will get a draw. I think one of this or the Arsenal game will be a draw which at the time will feel bad but over the 10 games will work out ok.
