The only thing I reacted to was how the word "rent-boy" was spelled out in the daily fail report. As it wasn't even the slightest offensive.

Otherwise, I think it's quite amusing that Scousers have to resort to the fan base as a line of attack because their glorious team are so toothless.

Except Brendan of course, who has new teeth. Interestingly, the Red Rum memorial at Aintree lost its teeth at the same time.

So 32million for Benteke? Comeone guys 32 million is a lot of money for any unproven talent; and he is unproven at the level L'pool expect him to play.

It's says a lot that he's unproven after three years in the PL. Oscar gets a lot of stick for only showing up at the start of a season. Still a lot better than Benteke who only looks bothered for a few weeks.

It seems all the cash they made on tinky winky will just go on Benteke, who never seemed as good as Lukaku. As others have said already, why buy a player who thrives on crosses when you already got rid of Carroll because he didn't fit in with the managers 'vision' of how the game should be played.

From Bentekes perspective, why join Liverpool if a club with European football to offer is in the mix? And if such a club ISN'T in the mix, then you have to ask yourself why not? Presumably the top clubs aren't convinced he's good enough.

It's a strange decision for me, which undoes all the excellent work of getting so much for Sterling. Was it £49 million minus 20% sell on fee to QPR? That leaves them about £6.5 million up on the deal which doesn't seem that impressive at all.
