Remember the Clattenburg horror show from this fixture in 2012-2013. I'm still adamant we would have gone on to win the league if we had won that game.

OGS may be gone by then. However, it seems to me that it does not matter much whether Man United are managed by OGS, Carrick or Fletcher. They are all part of the same team. What matters is how we play. If we bring our 'A' game, Man United will be very lucky to take anything away.

Kavanagh as VAR would see a reunion of the Manc duo that shafted us in the home game two years ago (when they ignored the Maguire kick in Bats' goolies, amongst other refereeing crimes).

A brilliant opportunity for us to simply run all over them, outplay them in every way - without any controversies; no VAR, no sending offs, no penalties- plain and simple "let's do this the same way we just beated Leicester"

Come on you Blues!!

They have a very big game on Tuesday against Villareal away.  Lose and it looks v tricky.  (Draw and they just have to beat Young Boys - but they did lose to them earlier).

A bad result might mean they have been run all over twice before they even turn up at the Bridge.

I still don't see the point of a board meeting for the decision, and the timing just before a key game seems very odd.  My guess is that they still don't have a new manager in line,
Assistant mgr, Carrick has the shortest odds to be new manager (Rogers is not far off).  Since bets are for permanent managers, a temp appointment sounds probable.

It looks poor that the board were meeting when a new guy should have been appointed weeks ago if not months.
