Ridiculously expensively attired but it had to happen!!

I hear you! My little 3 year old boy, as the son of a Welsh Chelsea fan, has to have both sets of kit!

The Ukrainian people deserve so much more.

So what would you suggest? Seriously, what do you expect the members of a football forum to do? Serious question.

So , they'll demand Chelsea are sanctioned because of the Ukraine but they won't sing the national anthem of their own country . I guess we can't rely on them when we get invaded ?

This was so against the current zeitgeist. NATO (so including UK) troops are being deployed, weapons from NATO (so including UK) are being provided, Russia and Russians are being sanctioned by the UK government, we the UK, the country represented by "God Save The Queen", is helping Ukraine directly...and they boo the anthem.

Don't forget this is from the inhabitants of a city where you have to pay for fuel before you can put it into your car; which celebrates criminal behaviour as being resourcefulness; which breeds public officials who think it is admirable and amusing when their football club's fans steal from their own and continue to storm entry gates despite their own tragic history.

What is you opinion on countries like Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen who were invaded by the US and Nato forces and who's fellow country men and women own some of the biggest football clubs in the PL?

You could also go down the lines of PL & European clubs owned by Middle Eastern clubs and their disregard for human rights?

China and the removal and disappearance internment of thousands upon thousands who stand up against the state

The Jerusalem Post is reporting that Roman is in Belarus at Kyiv’s request to help with negotiations.

Jerusalem Post: Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich in Belarus for talks

The newspaper claims the Russian is in Belarus assisting in the Ukraine-Russia talks, at Kyiv's request.

"I can confirm that Roman Abramovich was contacted by the Ukrainian side for support in achieving a peaceful resolution, and that he has been trying to help ever since," Abramovich's spokesperson told the PA news agency.

"Considering what is at stake, we would ask for your understanding as to why we have not commented on neither the situation as such nor his involvement. Thank you."

Billionaire Abramovich has come under fire in London over reports of his past relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Over the weekend he said he was giving management of Chelsea to the team's charitable foundation amid calls for him to be sanctioned.

Curious twist. Didn't see this coming.

Sky and the BBC will be desperately looking for a way to negatively spin this as far as RA is concerned.

This might explain why he felt the need to temporarily relinquish his duties in relation to the football club.

Very interesting that the Ukrainians would specifically ask for help from RA.  His part-Ukrainian heritage and friendships with high-profile Ukrainians such as Sheva might explain this.

Funny how being the most high profile Russian on earth apart from Putin can go from being a massive negative to a huge positive.
