  1. Bakayoko is doing the medical for him so we could be a while.
  2. Looking like he's off to Lazio or Real Betis.
  3. Appreciate everything Moses did last season but boy does he stick out like a sore thumb in that team.
  4. I'm certainly not throwing my toys out of the pram regarding everything, but I'm certainly not happy with the window so far. I guess we were spoilt with how we went about our business initially when Roman first arrived where we could do essentially what City are doing at the moment and now we're at the point where a lot of clubs (with the PL money) have reached some sort of parity with us where they no longer have to sell their players to keep going. I'd just like us to throw our weight around a bit for a change, to show we have a bit of clout about us. I guess for me the main issue for me is what is our overall objective? Like what does Roman want out of the club going forward? Does he want us to be a powerhouse in Europe again, or how he's won it, he's merely content with being at the table? I'm in no way shape or form undermining the two league wins over the past 3 years. I've always said that we have no rights to win everything, but at the same time, we as a club have changed drastically over the past decade to where we are (bar the 15/16 season obviously) now challenging for leagues every season. I just don't want us slipping behind.
  5. I imagine they are doing fine as it's probably the first window in an age where no-one has come in for their players. 40 odd days, yes, but 3 weeks away from the season starting, two if you include the Community Shield. I'm just wondering at what point are people allowed to start being concerned about our dealings/start of the season?
  6. Because before Walker, they didn't have any? And the way some people are on here, he'd be behind Moses in the pecking order as well.... Maybe as the article suggests, it's the Pep project that interests him over ours. That and City are actually willing to pay what Madrid want, whereas us.....
  7. http://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2017/07/19/596f16ff46163f26638b4613.html Looks like another one has slipped through the net. Disappointing. Might be time to dust off the old shin pads at this rate....
  8. All depends on how you want to look at it I guess. Was it worth sending the text message? No - mistake on Conte's part there - no denying that. But if Conte doesn't see Costa in his plans given what happened over the season then he's perfectly entitled to do things his own way. He's earned that after winning the league.
  9. http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/bundesliga/startseite/701914/artikel_entschieden-aubameyang-bleibt-beim-bvb.html#omsmtwkicker Basically says that he's staying at Dortmund.
  10. The whole world knows we lack options though. Which is why if you're a striker, you're going to be linked to us at some point.
  11. This Aguero thing is such a non event.
  12. I wonder if that's a sign of the times now.
  13. I don't think we're favourites for ANY striker at this present moment in time.
  14. How's everyone feeling about Michy being our No.1 striker this season....
  15. Lol @ anyone thinking we're going to get Aguero.
  16. http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2017/07/bakayoko-is-a-blue.html Glad that we finally got this one over the line.
  17. Looks like Bakayoko has either failed the medical or Monaco are blocking the transfer-he's deleted all of his Chelsea related stuff from earlier....
  18. Maybe a bit of both? Everyone on here would have been delighted with a top 4 finish after finishing 10th in the 15/16 season so to actually go and win the league must have surprised everyone. The lack of attracting players part could have been due to the previous season, no CL football or the club not willing to pay the prices being quoted.
  19. Why does there have to be a strategy about it? Ake and Chalobah wanted more gametime than what they were probably going to get here this season and therefore decided to leave.
  20. He probably still is a Chelsea fan James, it just so happens he's a professional footballer of which you have to put those types of things to one side. I think it's between Auba and Morata for me - and I'll be equally delighted if either joins tbh.
  21. Bakayoko news: https://mobile.twitter.com/mohamedbouhafsi/status/885267389679579137 This bloke broke the Kante deal last summer and is as reliable as it comes when it comes to French transfers.
  22. When Bayern have come out and said he's not for sale..... Right.
  23. The way everyone goes on here, no player is the right player for us, so I'm sure there will be someone that agrees with you.
  24. Quick question, who else is looking forward to starting the season without our two best players?
