Careful, that's not what people want to read!

Given the what I watched when they did that, then yes, they were.

Apart from the Maguire incident (and yes, I think that he should have gone), where else? Here's Franks thoughts post-game: Chelsea manager Frank Lampard, speaking to BBC Sport: "It didn't feel like a 2-0 and the performance was good in many ways but moments at this level can lose you the game. The first goal was sloppy, we gave them the ball back. The rest of the game was typical of our home games this season, against a team with five at the back. "It's not worth me going on about it [the lack of a new striker in January] now but the reality was there for us to see. If we're not going to take chances then we're not going to win games. When you dominate large periods you have to take your chances." On the VAR controversies: "I've seen it again [the possible Harry Maguire red card] and VAR is there for that and they didn't get it right. Azpilicueta gets a shove in the back - it's not clear, it's not obvious, Azpi has been pushed in the back." On the stadium emptying after Olivier Giroud's late strike was disallowed: "It's a bit soul destroying but it's the culmination of a few incidents. VAR is there for that and a toe offside is a toe offside, even if we don't like it."

We were? Sorry, but I must have missed that bit. For most of the game we were ok back-to-middle. But as soon as the ball went further forward, we were clueless.

I give up. Wasting too much time on this. Pointless.
-
So why would we sell him?
-
Except that you're never wrong, even when you are. Oh FFS, kev, nobody has 'ganged up up on you".
-
Yep, this part would 'surprise' me if this was true. Maybe 'stagger' is a better choice?
-
That'll be the day!
-
You're wasting your time, mate. Simply not worth the effort.
-
Yes. You could see it that way, I guess. You could also say that we were lucky that they played for us. To be honest, I'm not sure what you're trying to convince people about. Top teams have top players. Which came first, the chicken, or the egg?
-
And they did, didn't they? Not a 'chestnut' kev, it's a fact.
-
Kepa James Rudiger Christensen Azpi Kante Kovacic Jorginho CHO Pulisic Abraham Although, I have to say that I'd be tempted to start Giroud instead of Abraham.
-
If you, or anyone, get's 'worried' by what they read in the Daily Mail, then you've only got yourself to blame. It's just another rag that spouts bs because they know that it sells papers (or creates hits on the web). The club has never let on to the the media who they're really looking at/thinking of signing. I really can't see that this will have changed.

This place is going to the dogs.

^^^^^^^ Yada yada yada.
-
Yes, that's what I'd have thought.
-
Nonsense, of course, but thoroughly predictable.
-
I wonder where we'd be now if instead of showing them the door, we'd kept and nurtured Lukaku, DeBruyne, and Salah?
-
Mate, to be honest, I'm just not sure. There were 2, and I posted both, not being sure if either were him. It's been about a year since he last last on here, and I've really not kept up.
-
No, this is what I said: No he isn't, and hasn't been. But don't worry, I give up - this nonsense has taken on its own life now (Well, no he isn't listed, but we know he's there b/s). Frank isn't on any Chelsea Board, football or otherwise. Plain enough for you?
-
No he isn't, and hasn't been. But don't worry, I give up - this nonsense has taken on its own life now (Well, no he isn't listed, but we know he's there b/s). Sorry, but I'm out of here. Enjoy yourselves.
-
The last time I bothered to look, they both contained pretty much the same crew. No,sorry, but the manager./coach isn't on any Board at Chelsea. Never has been. Mate, that's not how it used to be, certainly during Roman's ownership. And as far as I'm aware, still isn't.
-
Really? Ah well, you'd know......:). What? Call what a Board? The Board? What sub committee? What does? Oh, the Board you mean? But that can't be right because the coach isn't on the board, and never has been. Marina on the other hand.... Who reports to Roman..........
