  1. Frank Arnesen

Mostly the people who complain are [demonstrably] ignorant. I'm very surprised that in a week (or so) when there have been some truly excellent articles written about him, Mourinho and other aspects of the way the club is set up - by dedicated people I might add, not journos - none, none, of them have made it to these forums.
  2. There's no reason for her to leave. She's part of the medical staff. The club doctor in fact, not just a physio as many seem to think.
  3. WTF are you on about? It's an observation on someone who voted for Torres in match day polls even when he was complete toilet. He's a fan boy personified and I'd be surprised if the OP wouldn't admit that.
  4. Media / Press

Not worth reading since: A) MS left and B) their anti-diving campaign some years ago which featured just one team: Chelsea.
  5. To be fair, you'd thank Torres if he shagged your partner though, wouldn't you?
  6. Brendan Rodgers is the fifth longest serving manager in the Premier League.
  7. Emenalo is not on the board, whereas people in the past who have held vaguely similar positions - Arnesen and Grant specifically - were. He's a trusted solidier, not a director.
  8. Brendan Rodgers is the seventh longest serving manager in the Premier League. Fact.
  9. Erm, the board and a large percentage of the staff is the stability at Chelsea Football Club. Head coaches are used to get the best results from the available resources. If they don't, they're binned off. I thought we'd all got the hang of that one by now. That's the plan. We can call it meddling if you like and the board frustrates me at times as much as the next supporter, but that's the plan and it's working.
  10. I know Dan Levene is blue through and through, but I enjoy reading him because the fact he's a massive football fan shines through.
  11. And that's the point. Unlike many, he's completely professional all of the time. That's all I want to see from the sports journalists in this country. Sadly, in the rush to generate traffic for their sites they often lose sight and are deliberately controversial.
  12. I think this is a reflection of the season we've had. The complete travesty he was until recently is easily forgotten when we go on a winning run. Far as I'm concerned, he's doing just about the bare minimum I expect of him at the moment. At the end of the season. Over two years since signing.
  13. If you've got no time for Martin Samuel, why on earth would you bother posting anything from a newspaper? He's comfortably the best sports journalist in this country. I don't know a single person who has not respect for what he writes.
  14. Kezman was a standing joke and in the end fans were feeling sorry for him. Sheva was shot before we got him. Vanity purchase and nothing more. Crespo's scoring record was bettered by only one player at the time, one Thierry Henry. Also, one of Crespo's biggest strengths was off the ball movement. I miss watching Hernan Crespo, he was a real treat on the eye. Torres has most certainly not done better than Crespo. We had a very different team and approach while he was here. I shudder to think what a decent striker would have done with the service Torres has had in his time here. In all the years I've been watching Chelsea, I can't recall a time when I've seen so many sitters missed and air shots taken by a striker.
  15. Since Jose lifted his skirts in Chelsea's direction in his desperation to leave Spain, it's been interesting to note through the wankfest just how many people have forgotten have fundamentally ****ed up the boardroom is at Chelsea. I'm sure they'll remember if Jose joins the club and doesn't start well, though.
  16. Non Chelsea: Premier League

Just to be clear: you think that he should change a proven winning formula and stop trying now just because the game is won. I can't imagine many people here would have a single reason to agree with you on that.
  17. Non Chelsea: Premier League

    Credible sources please.
  18. Right at the top of the list of requirements for a new coach/manager: Someone with a great big pair of bollocks.
  19. Three pages of comments stirred up by an agent flying a kite - very well it would seem - so that everyone now knows just how much the release clause is in his contract. And why not, if the coaching staff aren't getting paid regularly? All perfectly reasonable to me. Except that the expression, 'hook, line and sinker' comes to mind.
  20. Grant had the support of two excellent coaches, though. He wouldn't have that this time, though I rather doubt many will take that into consideration. HTC and Clarke were excellent support and played a big part in how well Grant did at the time.
  21. Josh Mc Eachran

Return of the Mac? Not this time: McEachran tells Chelsea he'd like to stay at Boro 29 Nov 2012 22:30
  22. Maybe it's time to get out of my box, I feel a storm brewing.
