The thing about Kalou is he isn't a superstar, and while he could go to a mid table team and be one of the focal points of their play-style, he won't ever be that here. He seems happy to play as a fringe first team player, who comes in when others are injured, or in need of a substitution. As an offensive squad player I don't think you can get much better, and he's a likable guy too. I'd rather have a young, sub 25 talent like Kalou who is prepared to start a maybe a third of our games than a aging star who's getting a huge paycheck and sulks it up on the sidelines because they are no longer the big fish in a little pond.
