If paying over 100m to buy Coutinho, we might as well spend half of that amount to get highly promising youngster like Kai Havartz instead. If Sari stays, I am not sure Coutinho fits in the 4-3-3 formation?

  3. Chelsea 4 Arsenal 1

So gutted that RLC who's been playing well recently to miss out following the injury! Seriously.............. I obviously feel strong enough to return to this forum to vent my frustration! (haven't been log in to this site for a long long time....)
  4. he would be crazy to sell mata this time........... anyway as long as we do better than man utd, can't be bothered what he is doing there.

Does it matter who speaks out? More important is the content of it. What we don't want to end up is that highly promising youngsters don't want to come to us because of our club inability to nurture them to the highest levels possible. We have to put ourselves into their shoes to really understand. Certainly, would you put your child/children to our club if we aren't chelsea hardcore supporters?

we should have gone for mustafi......... cheaper, better reader of the game and more consistent than luiz in my humble opinion.

Mustafi? Younger and read the game much better than Luiz!

I love David Luiz as he gave us everything he had and he loved the club, but I don't think we should be spending those sort of money to get him back. This is despite we are lacking in defensive options............ Yes there is lack of options in the current transfer market but having seen Arsenal signed Mustafi for the exact amount, I wondered why we didn't go for him instead? A better reader and tackler than Luiz and more importantly, younger and resell value would be better maintained..............

we are paying some compensation of around 50m plus. I can understand why the club wants to break the contract considering man utd is getting so much more than us. Those bloody cheats. Anyway I love adidas and would hate us to go for Nike......

Sane and Aubameyang would be great addition to our squad, however, I doubt we would be able to get them.
  11. +1 I was excited with his return but equally concerned with his third season destruction. I believe Jose wanted to build a dynasty but things just didn't work out. I do wish we get Pep. I will stop watching football if Pep goes to man utd!
  12. Jose, thanks for the title last season. I wish you good luck for your future. Please do reflect what went wrong as this is the only way will help you if similar events happening in future. You are always welcome back to our club. There is no point of discussing what had happened as it's past. It is certainly true that our performance has not been good enough. We are currently in relegation form. I never advocate to sack managers just like I wanted to give more time to AVB, Ancelotti etc in the past. However, I think the board and Roman have to make difficult decision for the sake of our club. I believe the players have to also look at the mirror themselves and be shameful of themselves.

As if you are? Someone who always discredit youth setup...........

Bertrand made the right choice. He is now pushing for England starting eleven since he left us. Had he stayed, his fate would be similar to RLC, Mata, Lukaku, etc. The excuses regarding our young players given by Jose, just need to ignore and take a pinch of salt. As long as he remains as our manager, our younger players will forever be labelled as not ready. The article from Juni's speak my mind too. Of course, these are our opinions and not to expect everyone to agree. Certainly Droy will disagree as he always believe youth investment is a waste of money.
