  1. Brendon Rodgers winning the league manager award is a joke. He was seriously responsible for Liverpool not winning the title this year with his mad tactics. It's embarrassing how he played into Jose's hand at Anfield when he just needed a draw to secure Liverpool's first title in god knows how many years. Hearing his post match conference you just knew that he has lost it and that Liverpool are just going to implode. And that capitulation against crystal palace - I just couldn't believe they were trying to make up the goal difference on City. Absolutely Hilarious. Over the years we have all laughed at the annual implode festival at Emirates, but this one, with three games to go, has to be the all time favorite.
  2. But the article says Inter want a top striker.
  3. Are you Zlatan in disguise? "What will you gift your wife on her birthday" "Nothing. She already has Zlatan"
  4. Two big horses. One small horse and a chihuahua. It's really a jungle out there.
  5. Honestly I am quite surprised Pellegrini seems to have been affected by Jose's mind games. It's been ten years now since the world was first introduced to Mourinho. He is the biggest hypocrite when it comes to press conferences. Right up there with Alex Ferguson in my opinion. Having said that, I think its just absolutely amazing how he has handled Man city and Arsenal off the field. He really is the special one. I won't believe for one moment that Jose himself doesn't believe we have as good a chance as any to be champions come end of the season.
  6. "Outside he remains the villain; inside, within the ramparts of Chelsea, he revels in the love he craves, the love of the fans and of the team’s old soldiers such as Lampard and Terry, who may know that he is a son of a bitch, but they don’t care, because he is their son of a bitch." Just imagining how much he must hate Mourinho made me laugh actually.
  7. I will be surprised if submitting a transfer request does not mean that the player will receive a signing on fee by default from the new club. One of those things that exists but never acknowledged.
  8. And the legend continues. I agree with you earthshine. I had always wanted DD, SFL, JT and PC to end their careers at Chelsea. It was a shame to see DD go considering we still have FT with his wages on the books. I suspect it was not just down to the club and DD himself decided for a move to earn some big bucks.
  9. I have finally derived an exact number using my complex algorithm which only 3 living people in this world can understand. My number is this : Hazard will get 28.4591% better. Mind you, my algorithm only gives correct number up to 4 decimal places. Make of it what you want.
  10. Anyone knows for sure if it's live on youtube? I read somewhere it will be delayed by 15 minutes due to restrictions by Chelsea.
  11. Exactly. I just wonder if he has toned down a little bit. It would be a shame if he has. Well will find out in a couple of months I guess.
  12. I was just watching Mourinho's first classico (the 5-0 loss) and the game reinforced my notion that what a dirty club Barcelona are and how that aspect of their 'philosophy' is never written about in the press. Guardiola tying to provoke Ronaldo, Pique showing 5 fingers to the Madrid bench, the players constantly pressuring the referee etc. But I guess Madrid succumbing to the pro Barca press turned out to be great for us.
  13. I just read wenger's interview where he expressed his unhappiness over Chelsea's Europa league success. He may have meant that as a thinly veiled snipe at us but I agree with him. I have never been able to wrap my head around this rule. Why should anyone get a shot at glory after failure to get past even the group stage of CL. The EL winners automatic qualification for CL will certainly make the dynamics more interesting. It will raise the stakes and teams will start to take this competition seriously. It will give more qualification options to teams like Spurs and Everton and on rare occasions to big clubs who might be under performing in their leagues.
  14. It was absolutely fitting Frank scoring the goals that seal the CL football for this club next season. Last two seasons, the old guard have really come on their own. Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba have made sure that the new generation has all the chance to take this club to another level in the next decade. It's been an honour to watch this man pull on the Blue shirt every single time. #Legend #Hero #203
  15. If RDM decides to wait till may he can take over at Arsenal.
