  1. Salomon Kalou

Well I thought Kalou would turn it round this season, I really liked the lad, he's had plenty of time but alas I am getting tired of him, he's a light weight and gets pushed off the ball to easily and after which gives the impression he can't be bothered...[maybe getting a touch of the Drogs] as far as I"M concerned both him and Maluda can go after all we seem to be selling players but not replacing them....come up Stoch & De Santo.....
  2. Chelsea Finances Thread

Just the usual paper talk.........load of bulldust IMHO
  3. Happy Birthday, Tony! :-)

Sending my warmest wishes your way!

    Best of luck x

  4. Didier Drogba

Well have to admit I'm now eating humble pie, I have been well impressed with Droggy this season he has been working really hard and setting up goals.. Long may it continue......
  5. Ashley Cole

Yes nice one Nicholas, I've been saying for a long time we've payed over the top for some of our players and it needs to stop, glad to see they have drawn the line in the sand..
  6. Salomon Kalou

Sound to me like he's hungry and wants to play in the first team that can only be a good thing for Chelsea, Jose I'm sure will give him that chance if HE thinks he's ready
  7. New Kits

Well if it's 45 quid in the UK, it'll be well over $130.00 here on Oz, it is a rip off, but I'll get one, hopefully my son will send one over for me birthday....
  8. Salomon Kalou

Well there is nothing at all on TOCFC web site about this guy, and now Sheva has decided to leave Milan, IHMO, I don't think this one will fly too many problems with work permits http://www.chelseafc.com/article.asp?hlid=...sub=latest+news
  9. Michael Essien

I thought when we first signed him he played very well considering the different league and language problems that may have existed, but as Robbie16 has pointed out after the Hamman incident and sending his game did drop off dramatically maybe its a confidence thing, overall I think next season he'll be much better it does take time to settle into the EPL guys give him a chance
  10. Didier Drogba

What tosh, he ain't going nowhere
  11. Michael Essien

I would suggest that Jose won't rush him back too early for us or anyone else for that matter.

quote:Originally posted by Grahame FendleThe other question this ban raises is, have Uefa now set a precendent for retrospective punishment? I don't think we should react or try and appeal this. There are enough people out there who already think Uefa have some sort of anti-Chelsea agenda going on. For me, I'd like the club to take it and move on, and as many have already said elsewhere this could easily have been worse. One just has to hope that the press and media will be keeping an eye on Uefa's consistency over this matter. I for one won't be holding my breath, though. id="quote"> id="quote">Very good point here Grahame, I hope that UEFA are consistant in the future, we move on from this and hopefully some of our players will take note, It was a very bad tackle we were lucky it wasn't a bigger punishment and IMO some of Essien's tackles were getting a little iffy of late, hopefully he'll learn from this and make him an even better player, as has been pointed out he's off the the African cup, so micheal just be a bit more carefull on the tackles mate!

quote:Originally posted by lampyfanOk. I've read Dan's summary of the 0-0 game on Tuesday eve v Lfc. Re Essiens challenge. No intent Dan?? Can you honestly see that again in slow motion and say no intent? Not only ws the boot about 12" above the ball, but it wasnt even in line with the ball. Rivalry aside, no-one wnats to see career ending bone breaking lunges, and it could have easily been exactly that. Ashamed to be Blue? no not really, but ashamed for Essien!!! id="quote"> id="quote">Essien is the one that should be ashamed , it was a very bad tackle, having said that, if UEFA are going to bring charges on video evidence that the officials have missed the least they can do is be consistant....like that's gonna happen
  14. Michael Essien

I think he was very lucky not to get sent off, it was a very bad tackle, he was lucky this time....
  15. Frank Arnesen

Spot on SGBLUE, I've mentioned before on various threads here the silly fees we seem to pay for players, and mostly get slated by some here saying we got the money lets get who we want, It's not the point paying Telephone number transfer fees for players and when they are sold we give them away, good business CFC, start wiseing up
