quote:Originally posted by nicholasobequote:Originally posted by ap25Frankly the debate is futile given that so many of the people who have posted have a loyalty to the club and its players that is blind and utterly unshakable. I love the club as much as the next man, but I can't tolerate Drogba's antics any more. Those who have argued that his diving is not disgraceful are misguided. He dives like he has been shot, and to make matters worse, rolls around like he's dieing. Compare that to Alan Smith who actually broke his leg and took it on the chin like a man.... I agree that Drog's commitment is undoubted, but his attitude to feigning injury needs to match this. id="quote"> id="quote"> I think you will find many people here consider bringing Alan Smith's injury into this discourse 'misguided' considering no player was near him at time. And I don't know how you gauge Alan Smith's reaction to that horrendous injury; perhaps you know him well enough to determine that he 'took it on the chin'. id="quote"> id="quote">Well the fact that he wasn't rolling around like a girl was a slight give away pal..... honestly.....

If the cheating, pathetic fool left tomorrow I wouldn's care. I am sick to the back teeth of the **** rolling around, rabbiting away at referees on issues that do not involve him and generally playing like a dog. Lets not forget his red card in the Camp Nou last year whilst harsh due to the nature of the second yellow, the first yellow was for back chat.... unacceptable. He doesn't appear to have a braincell and the abuse he received from the MHL on Saturday was thorougly deserved.

To suggest that Kezman would have scored a hat trick is ridiculous. Remember he has only just completed his hat trick for the season before slamming Drog. No, Didier is not a £24 million man, but when Chelsea come knocking, the price goes up. He just had an off night.

I read earlier today about someone hearing a new Drogba chant in Spain and forgive me but I can't remember the originator of the post. The chant went 'All we Need Is Didier Drogba, Didier Drogba, Didier Drogba. All we need is Didier Drogba, Didier what's new, someone still needs you!'(To the tune of Radio Ga Ga) Turns out my Bro and his mates started this song in Barca and as such I will be leading the chant in Cardiff. Please join in and quote CFCnet when you hear it! Care Free

As painful a thought as it may be, I still can only dream about the havoc Robben would have wrought over Barca in the Nou Camp. Please let him be fit for the return leg...

Your right Khobar, I have a lot of time for the guy as well. I just think that when the press get their teeth stuck into this next summer it may tarnish the good work he achieved...

I Read this in the Daily Mail today: 'Ken Bates, the former Chelsea chairman, can claim to have won the first round in his £2 million constructive dismissal claim against the club after the pre trial hearing. Bates is claiming loss of earnings over a 10-year period, which Chelsea countered with a demand for medical evidence to say 73-year-old Bates will live for another decade. However, Ken has just had his biannual check-up and the results suggest he will still be alive and kicking in his mid-80s. Legal jousting will see the trial put back until next June.' What a sorry business. Why can't he just walk away?
