  1. Salomon Kalou

I agree with you in a certain way. But in the second half when we needed them to hold on to the ball and get some fouls to stop there momentum, They didn't deliver. They need some experience on that especially Kalou. But I'll agree that they got us excited in the first half.
  2. Didier Drogba

quote:Originally posted by Grahame FendleBut surely, if Shevchenko scores less than 20 goals next season - assuming he comes of course - he'll get an absolute slating here won't he? Once upon a time people here said we needed a 30 goals a season striker, then it was 20 - which I questioned just the other day - now people are suggesting that Shevchenko could get away with less that 20? This is a joke, right? id="quote"> id="quote">Well I think Crespo got away with it this year which I don't understand!! But to put it all at Drogba is a shame really.
  3. Michael Essien

quote:Originally posted by IHateLiverpoolIs there any particular reason why UEFA can't study video evidence of all the other bad tackles that players have done over the years then? Now that there's a precedent set, surely the likes of Shevchenko should expect hearings about their behaviour. Yeah right, this punishment is selective and reserved only for "enemies of football" like our good selves. id="quote"> id="quote">Well because we're the team with no G14 protection. They just cannot do things for them see last years Inter for example.
  4. Didier Drogba

quote:Originally posted by Paul McgoochanThe last time I saw a pairing like this was Speedie and Dixon. id="quote"> id="quote">That pair was great. Also Dixon and Durie(only if he wanted to play).
  5. Michael Essien

quote:Originally posted by Matt ConnellanTrouble is Joe can't seem to kick it over 25 yards without a deflection! id="quote"> id="quote">Well He is King Cole of Deflections ;)
  6. Didier Drogba

Well so far this season he got 2 and knees 1 against arsenal, helped with the header for Crespo against wigan, 1 against WBA, get a penalty against villa and 1 against sunderland. So I think he's better than last season.
  7. Michael Essien

I think this guy gives us something different that we don't have with our other midfielders. Strong with a driving force. Still a long way to go but a very good start.
  8. Michael Essien

Hopefully this is the end of this mad saga that have been going on for 2 months. I think we need to buy a third midfielder and I don't about Essien just watch some highlights of him but this Aulas guy just drive me crazy. Even if Essien is the world best player I wouldn't want him because of this Aulas!!
  9. Didier Drogba

Is Inter playing home?!!! If so they share the same ground with AC Milan. Mybe for that!!
  10. Gianfranco Zola

And what do you expect other than that from the magician ;)
  11. Didier Drogba

I agree with Boogle. And I think from what I saw of JM he doesn't like to rush players back from injury.
  12. Didier Drogba

I think we should stick to a true striker upfront with 2 of Duff, Robben and Cole as this formation got us goals for the last two games. I have nothing against Eidur (I love him) but I think that our problems in earlier games that he was slowing the game when he drops to get the ball. Now when he plays upfront he doesn't do it that's why IMO we are creating more chances now. And I think Drogba will be delighted with this service.
  13. Didier Drogba

I think we should not only be behind DD but all of the Chelsea players. ok I may say that I liked a player more than the other but all of them are chelsea players. so we have to be behind them all.
  14. Didier Drogba

I think both of them are not team players . they just play alone . I would like to see someone who is a goal scorer but still can give the team something other then scoring. like Henry who is a deadly scorer but can creat a lot of chances for others and move alot to creat spaces for others which gives a players like Lampard to get to the box without being to crowded . I'd rather see someone like Zlatan than have Drogba or rooney (another owen). I know that a lot of people would see it diffrently but this is my opinion .
  15. Didier Drogba

I don't see Drogba as a team player. Ok he's good but that kind of a player that plays alone. Which suits teams of underdogs not championship teams. Not as HC who is a team player. I think Zlatan is more of a team player with a lot of good qualities. I'd rather see him than Drogba.
