  4. Gianfranco Zola

Well Done Zola. I take my hat off for you...
  5. Didier Drogba

It's Makelele (this webpage) How can you doubt that! Makelele and Drogba are very different from each other! You will have to ask Pete Sampson if you want a picture of Duff. Since the question is raised, how about a Zola picture as well (ideally framed on the site with a gold colour with a crown on his head).
  6. Gianfranco Zola

It will be a very sad day when he retires. Football will have lost an playing icon.

  8. Ashley Cole

Looks like we will avoid points deduction for the beginning of the new season and face a hefty fine instead! What do you think? Of course this is NOT the actual FA decision, but it appears to be the most likely outcome.

    69.4% of statistics is fabricated...
  10. Michael Essien

quote:Originally posted by lintonEssien is a a defensive midfeilder who plays for Lyon. He looks a very good player from what I have seen of him, possibly a replacement for Makelele when the old legs start to give way. lol id="quote"> id="quote">He has scored 10 goals this year. Hardly a defensive midfielder! He is similar to Lamps in the sense that he attacks and defends from midfield. He need to control his disciplinary record if he is to move to Chelsea. I think he is a great midfielder, but not sure if he is right for Chelsea adn I don't think he will improve Chelsea's first XL, although he will strengthen our squad.
  11. Michael Essien

quote:Originally posted by basoleEssien is only worth 10m. id="quote"> id="quote">Who are you to say that someone is worth £10m and someone is worth £18m? Why do you value Essien as £10m and say not £9m or £11m? The market dictates the prices...

  13. Ashley Cole

There is NO points deduction. The FA cannot do this especially in the last week of the league. It's a bit like saying "Well Done Chelsea you won the Premiership, oh by the way we have to deduct you 5 points for Colegate, oh, that make you 2nd and Arsenal champions, so hand over the trophy". Yeah right...
  14. Didier Drogba

Perhaps Drogba fears he will be kicked out next season and so had to talk himself up near the end of the season? Just a thought.

It's Henry that squeezing the balls, look where his arm is aiming at!!
  17. Salomon Kalou

If we win the Premiership, people like Captain Birdseye, Glen Hoddle, Ruud Gullit, Gianluca Vialli, Dead Man Walking & Co should all feel proud as they all have contriuted in a small way towards this achivement, both directly and indirectly. As Tesco quotes, "Every little helps..."

quote:Originally posted by Simon PooleI'm not sure, I think he would probably be happy that we have finally won the title. However I think he will be miffed by the way in which we have done it, lets face it he didn't really get on with the new regime very much. id="quote"> id="quote">Good answer. That exactly my sentiments about how Bates would feel.
  19. Salomon Kalou

Has anyone thought about how Ken Bates would react if Chelsea win the Premiership. Would he be genuinely happy for CFC or would he be annoyed in missing out on being the Chairman of CFC while they won the Premiership? It was always in Bates's plan to win the ultimate prize and he left Chelsea with bad taste in the end. I like to think he would have a big smile on his face when he hears that CFC becomes Champions. Do you think he be happy or miffed?
  20. Ashley Cole

quote:Originally posted by Michael TuckerWe don't. He won't. Said as much. Next! Seriously though Rachel, I doubt that another Cole is headed our way. A young guy like Maxwell would do me. He's quality; he's versatile; And, he'll get even better. If we do have to raid Arsenal, then I'd be going for Clichy, for the same reasons. id="quote"> id="quote">Clichy is a very good player. Interesting to see Ash Cole blowing his own trumpet this season. Is that because he secretly knows that his LB position is not safe with Clichy waiting in the Wings?

quote:Originally posted by pdsDid anyone hear talksport this morning, thay had a representative from according to Alan Brazil a whose name I think was Jeremy Walters not too sure about surname, but he was speaking on behalf of cfc fans and was saying that a mole that he has on the Colegate charge as said that there is a very strong rumour that F.A want to deduct 5 points but not this season, it would be from the start of next season, did anyone else hear this and thoughts please. id="quote"> id="quote">That's ridiculous and outrageous. Why deduct points at a different season when the crime was committed the previous season. Perhaps they feel that 5 points deduction is not sjubstantial enough knowing that we can still win the title this year. So by deducting points next season, it will have more effect in preventing us from winning the league next year. Can't see it happening though. That's so absurb and I don't think the FA got the balls to do that.
  23. Ashley Cole

Has anyone read the Daily Express today? It says that Rijkaard DID speak to Mr Frisk!!!
  24. Didier Drogba

zzzzzzzzzzz Can someone change the record please. We are about to embark on a great season by winning the Title for the first time in 50 years and what do I see on this forum. All you guys are arguing with each other. It's as if you are not happy with watching CFC having a unbelivable season and that you all rather whine and whinge about something. Grow up guys. This is suppose to be the INTELLIGENT Forum. Sometimes I think I am only the one who fits that category!
