  1. OFFICIAL - David Luiz Joins PSG.

Couldn't agree more, with him in the midfield, we would definitely benefit greatly. Not really, don't forget he's only 24, his best years are still ahead of him. Don't forget Essien was very similar when he first arrived, but naturally just curved his aggression.

There will be a picture of it tomorrow in the paper - they just showed it on SSN. Can't remember which paper though.

  5. Michael Essien

quote:Originally posted by KaranEven Barca are thanking their stars that he isn't playing against them. id="quote"> id="quote">I think we should be counting our stars that Xavi isn't playing! IMO he is their 2nd most important player - very underrated.
  6. Michael Essien

quote:Originally posted by BridgejunkyThat said I'd pick him ahead of Makelele for the DM role. id="quote"> id="quote">Essien is a solid midfield player, and can only improve. His first 5-10 games for us were different class. However Makelele has perfected the DM position. He is arguably one of the most intelligent players to ever play in midfield. To get a measure of how good Makelele is - commentators and pundits now refer to the DM position as "the Makelele role" and that's what it is - a role. A part in a play, a battery in a watch. It's not a position any more it's a role, and there is a difference.
  7. New Kits

quote:Originally posted by Raymond LiuThis one's for 2 seasons right? id="quote"> id="quote">Nope it's a special centenary shirt and will only be used for this season. The away kit will also change next year as we move over to Adidas.

That is a definite fake. The badge is wrong and you can see its terribly photoshopped by seeing the white patches on the sides next to the samsung logo. They are so uneven its funny.
  9. Gianfranco Zola

Zola for me, I just can't see Ronaldihno fitting into our system as a winger or midfielder. But the Barca team is made around him and I don't think that would happen at Chelsea. Also I doubt whether he would settle in England so Zola gets my vote.
  10. Gianfranco Zola

Which team would Zola at his peak not get into?
  11. Didier Drogba

I can see your point but a striker's job is to score goals. Look at van Nistelrooy, scores loads of goals and nothing else. I think Crespo is a better player than Drogba, more intelligent and better finishing. And to be fair to Drogba, he's had a decent start to the season, but he misses too many to be a world class striker.
  12. New Kits

I've got the home kit with "05 CHAMPIONS" and I might get the away shirt with Lampard on the back as it's £10 off from the megastore.
  13. New Kits

www.kitbag.com go to whatever shirt you want. Select your size and then go to personal printing and leave it blank but select the badges.
  14. New Kits

No I don't think that is our away kit for next year, I'm sure that we have a new away kit this year which they may wear in the Community Shield and will be on sale at the start of the season
  15. Didier Drogba

I think he's scared out of his pants that Crespo was on fire last season and he will look Drogba look even more ordinary this season
