  1. New Kits

    Just... awful.
  2. You're a match reporter now? Is that for real? Wow.That's so awesome!! ^^

  3. Ashley Cole

I completely agree, however my point about Bridge taking set pieces wasn't entirely related to the fact that he crosses infinitely better than Cole and/or Evra. He >can< take set pieces, and take them well. As a genuine left footed option, it's a shame it isn't utilised more... As for Cole - when was the last time he did anything useful in the penalty area?
  4. Ashley Cole

I'd have to say that Bridge is a better crossed than Ash and Evra put together... His delivery is superb, and it's quite a shame he isn't given more set piece responsibility when he's in the side.
  5. Ashley Cole

    Sell sell sell!
  6. Musical Tastes

RE The Shins. I certainly preferred "Oh, Inverted World" and "Chutes Too Narrow" to "Wincing the Night Away" which I found boring by comparsion. My two cents...
  7. Musical Tastes

The Cat Empire - Cities The Verve - Urban Hymns Jeff Buckley - Grace are the three albums I've listened to most recently. A bit diverse... but that's music for you :)
  8. New Kits

Yes, a blank shirt sounds good guys ;) I'm still around James, have been snowed under by schoolwork lately, but holidays in a week, so I'll be well and truly around then :)
  9. New Kits

Last two names I've gotten are Gudjohnsen and Shevchenko... Not a good omen. I like the idea of the keepers kit, being one myself, so Cech 1 is the obvious choice there. In the outfield, I'd go for Carvalho or Bridge.
  10. New Kits

Like the "pale" version much better than the "fluro." Interesting to see what it really looks like! What's this new premier league lettering you speak of, James?
  11. Ashley Cole

Hardly a startling admission. Anything else would be silly... So why's he been picked? Seriously? He had a shocking pre season, and even got benched for the Community Shield. But from the first game against Man City, when he crossed for Drogba's header, he's been superb, in nigh on every match he's played. No doubt he would have been filled with despair when Cole was signed, but he's well and truly proven himself this season, as the best English left back going around.
  12. Ashley Cole

Quite simply, it's almost logic defying. Well said Taha.
  13. Ashley Cole

Well, what MT said sums up my feelings, as if they weren't publicised enough.
  14. Didier Drogba

It happened with some infrequency, I'd have stuck him on the edge of the box to whack anything that dropped! Didn't work out like that though, did it? As much as I wished for him to give it a good old whack when he was on the pitch!
  15. Didier Drogba

Which is why, when he fancies one, he usually gets it. Well, surely if Ballack is going to take them, he'd be shooting for goal too? Otherwise it seems a pointless exercise putting the cross in when he's not in the box. Or JFH's horrible corners! How he ended up with the job I'll never know...
