  1. If it’s true then I like many others will be gutted. The revolving door of managers revolves again, how long will the next one last? Whoever takes over is going to have to hit the ground running if they’re going to salvage a CL spot. Part of me hopes they fail miserably, probably just an angry reaction to this news but it’s there all the same.
  2. Chelsea vs Wolverhampton Wanderers

Very true. Anyone on a bad run must look at the fixture list and hope they’re playing us soon! 😂 Still think we could win this though.
  3. Chelsea 3 Luton Town 1

I’ve read the whole post match thread and nowhere does anybody say “it’s a corner turned” or “it was a great performance”. Some posters strangely took some pleasure from their team winning and didn’t look to spin some negativity on it. How odd.
  4. Chelsea 3 Luton Town 1

I think you’re hoping people will go down that road so you can continue your narrative of trying to convince everyone that Jorginho and Rudiger should start every game.
  5. Chelsea 3 Luton Town 1

That is the crux of the matter, and as it stands I agree wholeheartedly.
  6. Chelsea 3 Luton Town 1

Reading this thread you could be forgiven for thinking we’d lost to Luton! Thought we played well and some of the quick passing (like that the led to the 3rd goal) was excellent. No doubt it’ll be pointed out again that it was “only Luton” but you can only play against what is put in front of you. If we put in a decent performance and beat a perceived “decent team” I imagine the match day thread will half the number of posters. I honestly reckon that there are some members who would moan if they won the lottery.
  7. Chelsea 3 Luton Town 1

Nathan Jones looks like Pullisic’s dad. just an observation.
  8. Chelsea 3 Luton Town 1

CHO for Pullisic is a good move, could’ve done it with it at half time.
  9. Chelsea 3 Luton Town 1

    Kepa definitely redeemed himself there!
  10. Chelsea 3 Luton Town 1

Let’s hope we don’t rue these missed opportunities!
  11. Chelsea 3 Luton Town 1

Throw anyone in the starting line up as I don’t think it’ll change our “playing style”! We’re damned if we win and we’re damned if we lose so throw caution to the wind and try something different. Chuck in some long balls, change the formation and try and score some goals. Unfortunately I’ll be able to watch this one.
  12. Leicester City 2 Chelsea 0

I didn’t see the game (fortunately) but after reading through this thread I now feel like I stayed up all night listening to Morrisey! Top 4 would now look impossible unless everyone else has a run of form like ours until the end of the season. I still don’t think sacking Frank will change anything. We’re not going to suddenly turn into serial winners. Luton must be licking their lips!
  13. Fulham 0 Chelsea 1

Well it certainly wasn’t pretty but a wins a win however it happens. I think (and I might be the only one) that we’re worse since the new players arrived. Without them the midfield was settled and there wasn’t as much chopping and changing the starting 11 which in turn led to better performances than we’re seeing this season. It definitely appears that Frank feels he has to play them to the detriment of the likes of CHO. On to Leicester!
  14. Fulham 0 Chelsea 1

What happened to the free scoring team from the start of the season? We just can’t seem to get through defences anymore.
