It's a good point. For me, so long as it doesn't fall apart a la 2007 then I think we'll be happy to carry on along. The problem with someone like Villas-Boas was that the present was absolutely shambolic. Will that happen under Mourinho so long as he gets the right level of support and not lumbered with wastes of space like Pizarro, Sidwell and Ben Haim? I think this whole thing is incredibly hard to predict, but then hasn't it always been the case for managers at Chelsea full stop? Not just under Roman - we've got history of short tenures going back what, 30 years? For me it comes down to this, is there another manager on the planet that I'd rather have at Chelsea? No.
