Who played as centtre forward? If I am not wrong, I guess Hurrell who oringally is a left back, play as the lone striker. Look at the lineup they put out.

  7. Chelsea Reserve & Youth Team

the postives we can take from this loss is we have got such a talent in Scott Sinclair. Who needs Theo Walcott at 15million pound?
  8. Chelsea Reserve & Youth Team

Is it true that the FA decides the transfer fee for those players below a certain age(youth)? Maybe we dont need to pay that much for a youth player.
  9. Gianfranco Zola

Tough question man, as much as I love Ronaldinho, I know Zola has settled into the premiership, Zola for me!

  12. New Kits

OppS, today we'll be wearing the white shirt. That white shirt 'cause' us the draw against everton. Many of us have been suspecting it was the white shirt that cause all the bad luck during the Everton game. Will it happen today? Please ... I hope not ( finger cross)..

a difficult choice? at the moment, Zola is still the greatest. Frank still got a chance, he still has years to improve our impression.

wow, I thought that it was over for Didier and Co to make it into Germany after they suffered a 3-2 loss at home against Geremi's Cameroon. Now, Didier must be in 7 heaven. I feel happy for Michael and Didier, its their first ever world cup.

quote:Originally posted by WashingtonBlueThere is no player that frustrates me more or delights me more than Didier Drogba. The right analogy escapes me. The best I can come up with is the hypothetical of buying this really expensive car that you've been dreaming about for years and when you get it it has a LOT of great attributes but a lot of nagging flaws that leave you screaming at the thing and wondering whether the engineers who built it were on drugs. A client of mine has a Lamborghini Diablo. Beautiful car. Lots of "power and pace" (sound familiar). Incredible driving experience. But its in the shop half the time and stupid things go wrong with it literally every time he drives it. Today the seat belt doesn't retract. Yesterday the cup holder just snapped off like it was made by Fisher-Price. The other day the tach just stopped working for no reason at all. These are things Hyundai gets right but this $400,000 car can't. His love-hate relationship with this vehicle knows no bounds. That's how I feel about Didier. He has a game like he did against Bayern last year or Liverpool last week and I think: "yeah, that's why we paid 24 million, its obvious that he just destroys the competition with his power and he even has some skills" but even in those games there were the moments when you are forced to think "what is it with this guy; a third-string striker for a weekend league could have put that sitter in the back of the net." And then there is "Bad Drogba", the moaning, whining, shruging "who me" guy who is always trying to draw a foul and going down at the slightest touch like he's wearing ice skates. I have no time for him at all. A man of contradictions, no doubt. id="quote"> id="quote">lets put it simple - he aint consistent. Not only is he not consistent in a run of games, even in matches. Yes he did assisted in 4 goals on sunday, but he miss a good oppurtunity 'gifted' by Hyppia( not taunting Didier). What was Didier doing on Wed, What was he doing on Sunday? See the difference? If Didier could just be that bit consistent, he will be deadly.
  21. Didier Drogba

    Thank you Didier! :D
  22. Frank Arnesen

I heard quite a bit about Sahin. In my local newspaper( a few months back), they named a few hot talented youngsters. I saw the name of Fabregas, Messi and in came this turkish guy - Nuri Sahin. He helped Turkey to win the European-U17-Championship, when they beat Holland in the final. Arsenal has been chasing him, and got a 2 million bid rejected.
  23. Michael Essien
