Part of the appeal. Against Rooney, in particular.
-
People get sucked in by the media and general consensus (which are almost always completely off the mark) far, far too often for my liking.

How many years to run?

And 16 goals in your first season isn't something to be sniffed at, either. The time will come, eventually, when the majority will realise what an incredible, incredible player he actually is. Ahead of his time.

Perhaps on things that matter - I.e on the pitch.

He really has nothing better to do, does he?

Very happy to see this. It's a welcome lift to the pressure that the players will be under during the period. I can't see us not making any deals in January either, for either immediate of summer transfers, due to the danger that summer could be off limits.

Watched American Psycho again last night, such a performance by Christian Bale. I highly recommend it.

As was pointed out in the Matchday thread, his positioning is probably the strongest aspect of his game. Say what you like about Kalou but he has a terrific knack of getting on the end of things. Not to mention 'that' cross.

Anyone got Glastonbury tickets? I managed to put a deposit down since I might not be able to afford it/go.

+1 One of my favourite films, an absolute epic.

Personally I'm pleased he's signed a new contract. Useful squad player and someone we'll most likely need in the coming months. Can score and works hard, and our only player besides Joe Cole who takes defenders head on.

I just listened to their new album uninterrupted, and my initial impressions are mixed. The first half is straight forward enough, typical Muse. It's hard to get excited about really because it's been heard all before unfortunately, at least I think so. I really do like the Exogenesis trilogy though, I think it's something very fresh and something they've been hovering around for a while. And I just discovered Massive Attack have a new EP out! Splitting the Atom, I do recommend it to anyone who's a fan.

I used to love Muse but grew out of them. Always considered them to be a poor mans Radiohead. However, I'm intrigued by their new album.
