  1. Gianfranco Zola

As much as a loved watching Zola putting emotions to one side on pure ability it has to be Ronnie everytime.
  2. John Terry

quote:Originally posted by George123Another great thing I noticed again about JT against Portsmouth was his encouragement for us to attack. I often see that we are not going forward enough; JT rectifies this by collecting the ball deep and running across the halfway line. This is a truly fantastic way to show the team the way forward. He has done this repeatedly this season and I think it provides great motivation to the rest of the team to play more offensively. id="quote"> id="quote">I notice this alot as well, he might pass the ball of and just keep running get it back and then try and drive into the opponents half with it.
  3. John Terry

I think this might be a hopeless task I think Freddie has it in the bag already.
  4. Gianfranco Zola

quote:Originally posted by wackoZola was a player who was arguably passed his best when he joined Chelsea, Lampard is approaching his. Frank is still not fit to lace Zola's boots. Okay, that's an exaggeration, but I honestly don't see what all the fuss over Lampard is about. Highly overrated. Brilliant eye for goal and scores some crackers. That's about it. Zola was magic. I'm no Chelsea fan, but I always enjoyed watching Zola. He was something special. id="quote"> id="quote">I think you must just watch the highlights when Frank scores the goals and never the games. He controls the midfield, sets the pace for our play, plays long range passes that open up and stetch the opposition constantly, which are by the way better than Gerrards constantly over hit ones but lets not get into that. I just hate the way some people still think Lampard is overrated try watching a game for Chelsea and you will see just how much he means to our team.
  5. John Terry

Great comments by JT, even got me fired up reading that. Where going to be up for this against Blackburn big time. common Chelsea!!
  6. Michael Essien

Good work guys and girls on the translation. I still wont believe this until I see it confirmed on the official site and I see him in our shirt at the press conference.
  7. Michael Essien

Right place right time comes to mind, now we just need someone to translate it! anyone out there?
  8. Michael Essien

Looks like it could be over. However I am still thinking he might come out and say he has changed his mind just for the added effect. Can anyone translate this into English?
  9. Didier Drogba

quote:Originally posted by guillaumeHe makes this interview 2 months ago, at the end of the last season. I read that in a french newspaper. id="quote"> id="quote">My point proven, I thought I had heard this a few months ago. Its the papers looking through the archives to try and make it out that there are internal troubles at Chelsea we should just ignore this stuff.
  10. New Kits

Whats with the obsession with the kits on here recently. Every other thread is about the bloody kit, its a kit thats all! So people have to wait who cares does it really matter if you dont have it straight away?
  11. Didier Drogba

Give the guy a break, are system probably doesnt suit him. More importantly you dont know how his words have been twisted like other players have in the past.
  12. Michael Essien

There was nothing in the first tackle, just picky refereeing you can't do anything anymore, second tackle was a yellow though.
  13. Michael Essien

Its a bit wild but its not that bad.
  14. New Kits

This thread has just evolved from the new Chelsea kit into the pros and cons of Pc and Mac..interesting..mind we have enough "new kit" threads for the moment anyway!
  15. Gianfranco Zola

I agree a role in the youth team would be the best idea. It would pull in alot of young kids to the club as well I would imagine. The chance to be coached by a great like Zola would be attractive to young players.
