  1. Didier Drogba

Drogs has the ability, he proved he can score before he was injured. I think it is down to does he like the way that Jose wants him to play? Jose obviously thinks he can do the job he wants or he would not have played him at every opportunity.
  2. Ashley Cole

  3. Didier Drogba

Why do we keep picking on him, his goal return for the first season is good, also bear in mind that he plays the "lone striker" which makes it extremely difficult when you have a couple of centre halves breathing down your neck all the time. If he scores a couple against the "bin-dippers" on Wednesday everyone is going to be delighted.
  4. Ashley Cole

It would appear that the Sun has provided the evidence, which as far as I'm concerned its a pack of lies, their track record for getting it right is nothing less than disgraceful. http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2002390...5132422,00.html The selection of the committee is going to be interesting, I can just see it comprising of representatives from Arsenal, Man U & Liverpool, all of which would insist on the maximum penalty available. Guess its now a case of wait and see what will happen, meanwhile Beckham & Owen will be "tapping up" Frankie & Gerrard while they are with the England Squad and no one will say a word.
  5. Didier Drogba

We all acknowledge that against WBA he missed more chances than most Premier League teams create in 3 games, but he and the team must be doing something right to be able to be in a position to have a shot. His work off the ball is great, drags defenders all over the place, which in turn leaves gaps for others players to capitalise on. IMO next season he will achieve the 20+ goals that we are looking for from a striker. If JM was not happy with him would he have started against Palace ... I don't think so.
  6. Didier Drogba

I agree with all those who posted that Drogs had a bad game against WBA, his shooting was off target by a mile, having said that he did put in the work on the pitch which lead to shooting oppotunities for others. I'm in the not convinced section of his true abilities, but can't buy into the one season wonder, and I guess neither can JM. I think that having had a complete change of life style coming to Chelsea he is desperate to convince all that he is not "a flash in the pan" and is a class act. He has scored some vital goals for us this season, and we should not forget that. Next season he will show us how good he is and notch up 20+ goals.
